No need to be haters. It’s not like he’s asking custom pricing .

It does look better than a lot of my unfinished project ... and it will be cool once finished.

It's on the way to the arsenal. it will get the appropriate care it deserves. Most likely a bottom feed magazine. No pipe clamps, rubber bands, tape or other ghetto accessories.

Please keep us posted, I love to see other people's build, what they gave and how they solve it.

While I'm waiting for this to come, any opinions on bolt action or leave it as a semi. If it stays semi, I'm thinking dmag instead of zeta. Make your thoughts known.

Bolt action a 98 might be rough ... unless you only bolt the forward bolt and let the gun fire every time you pull the trigger (wither you loaded a round or not)

If I change to bolt action, it will be with a different marker as the base.

Item arrived and here is the first assessment. The rubber bands were holding the top foregrip. That piece was cut and the flange that went under the band is gone. Therefore, a new internal clamp system will need to be created and added. The marker body needs extensive trimming. The old feed port will be filled in. I may add a detent. The mag well location must be cut out, and a mag well installed. The inside of the stock needs to be milled for the marker body. The front pipe band has been removed and replaced with a real rifle barrel band. The air supply will need to be custom made and routed inside of the stock. Because this is semi, a remote line connection will be routed though the stock with the quick connection visible on the underside of the buttstock. Pictures and progress to follow.

You should check out those half Dam mag mods people are doing. They basically cut Dam mags down the middle and make them 10 rounders.

I haven't decided on a final magazine type yet. Because of the wood stock, I think the Tipx mags are too thin. They look too much like a smg mag or a 22 cal mag. I think the Dmag or the DAM mag will look the best. A strait box magazine, similar to the BAR, Gher43 or Fn49 look. The TMC, Helix, T15 and T68 mags all curve, and are not what I'm looking for.

I'll be interested how it comes out. I love the original stock. I have one that I haven't been able to bring myself to alter so far.

So here is an update on the WW2 Custom Pro. I cut the marker for mag well and better fit in the stock. I drilled the bottom for bottom feed and D shaped for FS. Decided to use the Dmags. Not sure if I'm going to build a mag well from sheet metal or fit a premade one. See the progress below. Next to custom fit air line through the stock. resolve the mag well. secure marker in stock, without tape or rubber bands. secure top fore stock.

Cool I like it. I would check out what the 3d printing community can dig up. Lots of options for D mags out there. Making one from scratch sounds interesting tho. Lookin good!

The scratch path is due to a tight fit in the stock. I don't want to remove too much wood. It may cause failures in the stock
