They have a few for sale, not a bad idea to make a lamp out of your dead tanks for the man cave.

I'm keeping an old CP stubby for just this reason, but need a man cave first. I don't think a table lamp could survive my garage/ shop. Mostly for lack of table space.

I've got a gorilla and a few old co2 tanks, I've saved for the same purpose. The DIY lamp kits and base mounts are a rabbit hole on the amazon.

the carbon fiber tanks are a pain to cut, I had to sharpen my cutoff tool 2 or 3 times to go through the one i cut for my freak case

So do you have to remove the lamp parts to get it hydro tested?

I just ordered the SHP lamp parts kit so it could hold hydro. 9.99 on Amazon!

I make these any time I get my grubby hands on an old tank. I usually just have to drill a small hole in the bottom to pass the rod through. I go to Goodwill and buy a $7 lamp that has cool parts I can use and just swap them over. I give them out as gifts.

Would be really cool if the gage were the off/on switch.
