    Question - Shipping to Europe?

So, I recently shipped a package to a Scandinavian country, and while the expense wasn't fun (~$70 for an 8 lb box), it was kinda what I expected.

But the thing I DON'T know what to expect is shipping time. It took about 5 days to get to a US port of exit, and is now out of the country, it looks like by air. Any guesses as to how long it might take to arrive? It doesn't have any gun/marker related parts or shapes in it, so finders crossed that it won't get opened too many times by customs.

If it by plane it might just wait for a international flight to take it.
if it was by boat I once had 30-45days transit estimate from Canada.

I've done a few deals in NE Europe and it's generally about 3 weeks. Mind you I have not shipped anything post-Apocalypse.

I got small package shipped to me from the U.S. a couple of months ago. Took about five weeks, although most of that time - about a month was getting it out of the U.S. The sender had recent experience with similar shipping time, all due to the Covid-29 situation. Personally, since covid hit us, I have only this single package to go by, so I cannot say whether that is the norm nowadays.

Ok thanks for the input guys! It's really helpful. Hopefully it won't take longer than about 3 to 5 weeks then. Right now, tracking says Miami Intl., but I think tracking ends once it leaves the US, so it might be OCONUS by now. Initial ship date was April 2nd.

I shipped a package to Jordan in Canada on the same day, and that arrived to him yesterday, which I was pretty surprised by!

If you know the postal service for the country it is going to, you can go to their website and enter your tracking to see if it has made it into their hands yet. The downside is trying to translate the site to figure out whatโ€™s going on to begin with though. I did that for a package coming from Spain once before and it tracked perfectly

I sent some honey to an APO in Germany at the beginning of January. It took 3 1/2 weeks for it to get there. Tracking will stop after it leave the US.
