So glad it is showing up. Packages of mine that have went missing and showed up were still intact.

Sometimes it just goes missing for a little while... Hope it is exactly the condition it is supposed to be!

If they find your package, you have to reimburse them for the total amount of the insurance claim.

Just received an email from USPS. Basically they consider this lost and to file a claim. If they do end up finding it they will ship it back to me.

How long has it been missing? I’ve had packages go several days without an update, but they were still moving. I’ve even had a couple that never got scanned in, and didn’t show any history until they were at my local post office on the truck for delivery.

Dude I do not understand ppl stealing from their work and still be working there. Going to do that make it worth it where you going to take millions and have at least 80% of getting away. Those ppl now dont have a job, jail time, likely will loose everything and no good job ever again.

Misdirected shipments, funny story - although not at all funny at the time. I used to play Warhammer 40K waaay back, and the main source of info of the hobby was the monthly magazine White Dwarf.

Since I wanted the fresh news ASAP, I took out a subscription, so I would get the magazine some days, possibly a week, before it hit the shelves in the stores.

I was mildly annoyed when the very first issue of my subscription didn't show up in my mailbox on time. In fact, it was several weeks late. It was the same delay with the next issue.

When I reached out to customer service in the U.K the answer they gave me was that apparently they erroneously sent my copies of White Dwarf to Singapore instead of Sweden. Yes really - Singapore.

This absurdity continued for the entire year of twelve issues of White Dwarf. Every. Single. Time.

Customer service claimed that they couldn't do anything. But to this day I can't for the life of me understand how the hell this strange error could keep going on. Apparently they knew how to get the bloody magazine to my correct address, but STILL persisted in sending the magazine to SIngapore instead. My best guess is that customer service simply didn't care at all.

I once grabbed some cheap parts on eBay that didn't show up...got refunded and all that and moved on. About two years later they showed up, with a note from the post office apologizing and saying they had found them recently. I'd bet this shows up again at some point, and probably faster then two years because a 6 pack will definitely be in a larger box.

I so hope that is what happened here. And even if its months from now that it shows up.

I have had that happen... sent the buyer the tracking and they were "Why is my package on the east coast and we are both on the west coast?" but it came back and ended up at his place...Hopefully this is the case for the OP

I hadn't had issues with USPS in the past, but I did have a pretty bonkers problem with my first time shipping a package in a few years - Priority from TN to WA, not only took 7 days instead of 2-3, but it went to Puerto Rico first, and the box had been chewed up & spit out. The item was fine, but what the eff.

Yeah that is what one of the guys at the post office said, got placed on the wrong truck. But since it's been a while file missing pack. Last tracking on the site was 5/28 "on the way to next facility ".

It shipped on 5/24 and was to be delivered on 5/29. I filed missing package on 6/11 no updates so far.

How long has it been and have you filed missing package?

I've touched many thousands of USPS ground / 1st class shipments in past decade and LOST shipments have been quite rare (well under 1%). MISDIRECTED shipments... not so rare. Packages get sent all over the country, especially since theyve been cutting funding. Once they fall off the wagon it can take 4-6 weeks to resolve and filing very much matters.
