Just curious as I have recently been stalking anything CCM on ebay… Does curated just pick up markers and strip them into pieces to part for money? Seems as such. I get it if that’s your hustle but seems shameful to me. Any ideas?

I think scottieb was wrapped up in this (his angel was stolen, and was working with CP to get it back). I can't remember if he ever got it back though.

If I remember correctly Curated Paintball put them up for sale on eBay and when he was notified, he worked on returning the markers to their owners. If that is the case I would say he is at least somewhat of a decent guy because I assume no one would come after him if he just sold off the stolen markers.

Yes, from Curated I received back just one of the Angels that was stolen by Brad Potter of East Coast Angel. Curated purchased the stolen Angel lot from ECA. I suspect Angels were returned by Curated out of fear of legal action as the thefts are well documented and total tens of thousands of dollars.
Curated cannibalizes markers and price gouges everything he lists. He is not a paintball man. He just tries to make money on paintball.

I’m starting think this guy lives rent free in half y’all’s head. He’s not the first guy to buy low, strip parts and sell high, and he won’t be the last.

@axel
The thing is I tend to price things here "in the spirit of old MCB".... When people take advantage of that just to relist things on ebay I just raise prices to match and everyone suffers.

“Buy low” is debatable. Maybe for stock automags he flips. But I’m not seeing how he’s making any money on the more high end stuff. If someone’s asking $900 for something like an SS25 on here. I’m not seeing how he’s making his money back let alone a profit with by selling each half for $300-400 while eating the eBay fees.

He runs fast and loose, lots of things get mislabeled and it's clear he doesn't always know what he is selling
