Some of the kid refs at the field have been asking me to play airsoft for years. When I finally conceded to give it a try, I wanted to run just a CO2 pistol. However, I was grossly outgunned, and the CO2 12 grams didn't even shoot two full magazines in colder weather, so I bought the G&G SSG-1 - the only thing in my price range that I could shoot while wearing a paintball mask. The adjustable angled stock can move a bit, but it's not too bad. It also comes with a black muzzle break, so you don't have to use the blaze orange one shown. I still prefer paintball, but airsoft is more fun than I thought it'd be.

Aren’t there airsoft conversions for some of the mag fed markers?

So those speed soft setups are their own thing? They look like converted paintball markers. Now that I got my lil home compressor they might be fun to play in the backyard with the kids.

I'm actually working on a prototype barrel right now to convert just about any existing AC threaded marker to shoot BB's.

From what I’ve seen, the HPA airsoft guns are quite a bit more expensive and finicky than a battery powered AEG airsoft gun. Plus, most require a remote. I haven’t seen many with a tank-on-gun setup.
