I bought my step son (turning 11) a padded top, a JT harness, a proflex, and some other stuff for his birthday because I said if he starts showing more maturity and responsibility, I'd take him to play paintball (which he really has, he's been just stellar the last 4-5 months.)
He worried that it might hurt too much. So I told him to stand about 50ft away, and I shot him in the arm. He yelled OW! and fell over. Then he started laughing. He said it definitely hurt but he took it. So, I let him shoot me back, and if course he got me in the worst spot, right above the love handle.
Now he can't wait to go play the first time! It's something we get to do together and I get to teach him all the things I know and we get to go have fun.
I'm really excited we get to do this together. We need more 1 on 1 time.
