Scott, that will definitely have some collector value in the firearms community. What exact value I couldn't tell you, but I would search eBay for similar listings. HK, above any modern firearms manufacturer, has probably the most rabid fanboy/collector base around. Also, because the brand has always been seen as high end, and expensive, HK collectors also have money, like the_matrix_guy said. Some of them make paintball gun collectors look like bottlecap collectors by comparison. You will have no trouble finding a buyer on HKPro forum, or eBay.

You have to be. An original all metal MP5 or a PSG -1 will set you back some.
The MP5 full auto sear pack is around $50k these days. PSG-1’s typically range from $10-20k, but there are rare models than can go for a lot more.
I am an HK peasant. I have the civilian SP5, a couple of clones, and an MK23 (no LAM yet). The iconic LAM for the MK23 is around $2-3k.

You can also try the HKPro forum. A lot of those guys have means. $100 is like $1 to them. I know several multi millionaires on that forum. They could also give you an appraisal, if anything.Last edited by the_matrix_guy; 09-12-2025, 05:56 PM.

Yeah, not sure if it even has some special value but its very cool! I’m a big HK fan. And obviously HK has a huge following especially their classics. It would be interesting to see. Personally, I wouldn’t be surprised if it sells for $80-100. You can try eBay and put a BIN listing with a price of $100-120 and take best offers just to test the market.

I can't speak for the value of it, but that briefcase gun has and always will be cool.
