    MMA Superthread

I love me some MMA and keep tabs on a lot of different fighting leagues, I know there are lots of MMA fans out there(don't know how many cross over to MCB but worth a shot), so I figured I'd start a thread where we can talk about anything and everything MMA, fight cards, results, leagues, memes.

UFC 252, Rozenstruikat I was impressed with glad he's making a recover from that Ngannou loss, sad to see JDS on his way out, don't know how many more he has, seems like he's been getting tko'd a lot more recently, l was disappointed in the way O'Malley lost, I'd love to see them run it back but it seems like Marlon Vera doesn't want that from the post fight interview, seems like he has it in his head that he dominated, which he did but over somone who was on one leg.
I'm glad to see DC hang up the gloves, he's had phenomenal career, and that fight was very great display of both Champs giving it all, I hope Stipe gets a few more defends under his belt and calls it a quit after, that heavyweight division has some scary guys in the top 10 that all have spooky 1 punch ko power

I have watched every UFC since UFC 1. I am a huge MMA fan. I do my best to not watch any feeds about the fights because I rarely get to see them the night they happen but I get to them eventually. I was even training in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu for a while but had to stop due to use of blood thinners. I would come home after a session on my back and my whole back would be black/blue. So now I just satisfy myself with watching the fights. I really do not follow anyone in particular I just like watching the action.

I've watched all of the events going back to UFC 1 in some way or another. That said I didn't get super into it until 2008 or so when I began training with an ex pro boxer for fitness and self defense purposes. Next thing I know I'm being trained by his business partner in kicboxing and BJJ. Developed a whole new appreciation for MMA after training in 3 disciplines.

The last few events without the crowd are just weird to watch. I will say it makes it easier to concentrate on the actual fight but the crowd and commentary are really part of the experience.

I've been loving the no crowds, it definitely makes the events so much more interesting, when they did a smaller octagon I was loving that
