Just started the audiobook for Mutiny on the Bounty by Nordhoff and Hall. Its excellent thus far.

Reading Our Lady of the Artilects by Andrew Gilsmith. Pretty enjoyable so far.

I finished Labyrinth of Ice, The triumphant and tragic Greely polar exposition by Buddy Levy. Excellent book that I’d recommend. I really enjoy Levy’s writing style.

I am almost finished with another Buddy Levy book : "River of Darkness"

I agree, I really enjoy his writing. It feels like a great adventure. He picks some fantastic topics to research.

              Just ordered on Amazon.
I think it just came out.
I better plan to watch the original theatrical movie when I’m halfway through the book as a refresher.

Ankara Witch by Nnedi Okorafor. My daughter absolutely loves this series and passed it to me. So far it’s a good read.

"Killing the killers." Curious how Bill O'Reilly's account will compare to the "zero-dark-thirty" and "No easy day" retelling of the same incident.

Jumped back into some comfortable fast food sci-fi in the 40k universe with "The Infinite and the Divine" By Robert Rath. Its been a more fun than I had anticipate. Highly recommended for 40k fans.

Also nearly finished reading "Sword of the Lictor" by Gene Wolfe again.

Just finished "The Iron Assassin" by Ed Greenwood.
It was a fun steam punk adventure.

Working on Starship Troopers by Robert A. Heinlein.
I did not know the movie was based on a book published in 1959.

Definitely a good read in my opinion and helps give some context to some of the campiness in the movie. The movie I enjoyed (even though as typical takes a fair amount of liberties with the actual story line of the book) and the book fills in a lot of storyline gaps. Some of Robert Heinlein's books I like and some not so much but he was extremely prolific so plenty of choices.

Watched the 6 episode series recently and figured I needed to read the book. So far so good (5 chapters in).

Sounds interesting, I’m going to give it a read as well.
