We initially landed at Arar airport in Saudi to support Taskforce 20 during the hit on Baghdad. Then we flew in to Kirkuk right after the 101st took it over and setup bare base ops.

Active duty Air Force 1999-2003 Firefighter. Served in Iraq during Iraqi Freedom and helped get Kirkuk AB established during the war. Got out and went ANG for 6 more years.

FC2 US Navy, 1989-1995, 3 different ships. Interestingly enough, one war, one at sea collision, same ship running aground and last ship hitting something in a Russian port that bent the starboard rudder and took a blade off of the starboard prop. Came back across the North Atlantic with one prop and one rudder in a Spurance class destroyer

F-18 Hydraulic/Structural Mechanic for VFA-195 from 1999-2003. Floated around on the USS Kitty Hawk most of the time... Still at it sorta, mechanical engineer for a defense contractor that manufactures aircraft weapon systems.
