Horse Show

Spent all day yesterday at a horse show with my daughter (since I trailered the horse) and decided to snap a few photos.

Wow great pics! Your daughter has some talent on the equestrian vert course it seems, sweet jumps! Call me crazy but they should bring back jousting as an olympic sport; bit of a tangent.

I grew up with Quarter horses, so all of our obstacles were vertical, rather than horizontal. I respect anyone willing to leave the ground on a half ton critter.

Really nice photos. I always wanted to try horse back riding. Jumping one has to be a rush for sure.

At my job we run a race horse retirement home. The inmates learn how to take care of them feed water and such. It’s a good program for them. But I always enjoy working the farm. I’m always stealing apples from the messhall to feed the horses. Needless to say I have made some friends. I could not work that post for a week and they remember who’s got the goods.

I'm not surprised. My favorite picture you posted here, possibly ever, was in one of the "Cat's away" threads where you and Maddie were doing a "Calvin and Hobbs jump"
