Photographers: Show off your prized shots

I figured I'd get a photographers thread up and running. As an amateur paintball photog I get pretty psyched when I snap a winner. Consider this a thread to show off your prized shots. Feel free to include any context. I'll start with one of my personal favourites.

It's not all fun and games. The emotional investment can be overwhelming.Click image for larger version

I just got my first DSLR, still learning, only got the two "starter" lenses that came with it. Having a lot of fun just figuring things out.

So far my favorite picture was taken with in the first hour of charging the battery...

This little guy was hopping around on a branch about 3 feet away from me. I think I had the settings right for the low light levels.

Paintball shot I had fun with:

Been a while since I took the camera out to the field, mostly just putzing around with abnormal situations- Long focal lengths, Macro, low light, out of the way locations, star trails.

This was at 500 mm on a crop frame sensor so this dude was wayyy out there with a lot of haze between me and him, but a lot of editing later and happy to catch a cool moment with the wave that won this guy the event in Rincon PR

It's not terribly intuitive. Just used the 'insert picture' icon I believe. Then it prompted me to upload the photo to the server, then it would let me post. I think that's what I did. I'll try to upload a photo to check..... So I tried and as you can see the post following is still a bit wonky. I uploaded a photo, but it was almost just a thumbnail. When I went to edit the post I was able to change the size... but that's about it. (not the best problem solver)

The first one is my favorite photo that I've ever made. Small screens don't do it justice

Third, forth and fifth ones actually has very little post production editing

Last two will take a little thought to understand, let's see if anyone gets it

don’t trust a tire monkey to move your Miata apparently shifting from reverse to 1st while moving is standard practice.
