PSA for anyone that puts up the toys for winter, I stowed the hot rod and both bikes today. It’s been about ten days since I rode the older bike. When I started it the back exhaust blew out seeds, nuts and corn kernels.
I always stuff steel wool in the ends of the exhaust to stop this activity never had it happen so early!

Just a misc update: My OEM tires were showing some disconcerting wear so I ended up purchasing a set of Sport Cup 2’s in July.

Much grippier than OEM, and it seems like they’ve held up well to daily driving (although I only average about 250-300 miles a month these days).

I’m actually swapping them out for my winter Blizzaks today. It’s kind of early in the season to swap out for winter tires, but I don’t want to risk getting caught on snow or ice with the Sport Cup 2s.

This one's called the Thomas D. Royal. As opposed to the innovator I previously posted, which is mostly for processing and sorting oysters this ones used for mussel and kelp farming as well as oyster farm maintenance like gear cleaning. I haven't driven it in a few years, but get to enjoy a couple days of being a deckhand on it every year when my boat doesn't have something more pressing to do. A friend hooked me up with some dyno time. The 135i made 460 whp and 447 ft lbs torque. I was hoping for slightly higher power but that torque curve is plenty for a 3200 pound car.

Maybe comes out around 540 hp at the engine.

My "daily driver", the Innovator, 54 feet of aluminum that chugs along at a top speed of 7.2 knots with a stiff wind and tide behind us. That being said, with the bowthruster and last seasons hydraulic steering system upgrade it is insanely maneuverable for a flat bottomed boat of its size.

Edit: she's also got a crane capable of lifting a small car that extends to about 60 feet long, 2 gantry cranes, and a hydraulic drill for installing helix anchors that isn't in the photo. Top it off with an oyster sorting/processing machine line and it's an absolute beast for oyster farming.

This thread was started for member owned cars, bikes, boats etc.

We do have another thread for wish list cars or just cool vehicles in general that are not owned by members.

#Legend I did get to go for a hot lap with a professional driver at a NSXPO and was truly amazed at what the car was capable of.
Working...
