Throw a Barrel swab coated in brasso in a drill and shine away. (If it’s lumpy and corroded). If it’s just tarnished smooth I would just leave it alone. Won’t hurt anything may even help. -
If it's just surface, it should be fine. A mirror polished bore isn't necessary. If it's thicker (like approaching 1/16") might be an issue because it could act on the ball. If you're shooting it, and nothing seems abnormal, I wouldn't worry about it.

Was wondering if tarnish on the inside of brass barrels is an issue and if so how everyone deals with it.
