    Inception Designs Springs

Just looking for an easy starting point for installing ID springs in a sniper. What level vale and main spring are you using?

    From his site
We recommend using Main Spring B or C initially (B will give higher velocity)

We recommend using Trigger return spring B initially (C requires a very well tuned gun and frame or will not work

We recommend sear spring C (Light Medium) but if the hammer skips you may need a stronger spring (common for older guns with heavier hammer springs.)

We recommmend Valve Spring C initially
Dealer for: Roasted coffee and TechT products.

On my Empire Sniper I'm using the lightest valve spring with the second to lightest main spring.
        I can haz feedback?
If I owe you feedback, just remind me, as I sometimes forget.

If my current build is happy with the springs I’ll have to try that combo on my Empire Sniper. Thanks!

How much and what kind of a deference does that make in the empire?

The spring kit in general that is

Over a stock Empire Sniper, I couldn't honestly tell you. When I got mine, it was kind of a basket case. It was in great cosmetic shape, almost like new, but wasn't shooting. The gauge was sprung, which I later discovered was due to a badly damaged reg seat. Once I got that, and some other problems worked out, I still couldn't get velocity over ~260 FPS. I'd noticed when I'd went through it that the valve spring was surprising stiff. I have no idea if it was the stock spring, as who knows what the previous owner (or ANS, since it was one of their "exclusive" colors) had done. Desperate to get it up to velocity, I bought the ID complete spring kit, though I only needed the valve and main springs. The price was the same either way, so I figured why not get everything, just in case. I ended up starting with the lightest valve spring and lightest main spring. It was able to get to velocity, but the IVG had to be screwed most of the way in, so I switched to the next main spring up. It's very light to cock, and the reg sweet-spotted somewhere between 200 and 225 PSI.

The only problem I have now is the pump spring is stiffer than I'd like. It makes the pump stroke stiffer than a stock Empire Sniper, despite the main spring being slightly lighter than stock. I'm not sure if the pump spring is stock, as pump problems were among the other problems I had to fix (I replaced almost everything but the spring). I'm betting it's not, as it's so stiff that every shot is like holding pump forward.
