Anything mech or pump. The only thing I worry about is the barrel. No porting, or at least as little as possible.

    Mech Ion?
cheap easy to maintain and I cut a longer teardrop freak barrel on mine so no porting

Ya, just use whatever reliable gun you typically use. I prefer mech in general, but most electros will be fine. Just don't forget the raincover

For semi play a mag running a Center feed body works pretty well. But the newer stuff like the Emek and GOG eNMEy would do just as well. I will likely end up with another eNMEy eventually as my I just don’t care marker.

I also love my SL68II for that purpose as well. It does have a cleaning port that opens the breach on the left side but it’s never open long enuff really to have any effect. And otherwise it’s all sealed up. Mine has a solid non ported brass barrel. Just very little on that thing to have issues.

Yeah the paint needs way more attention than the marker. Use whatever marker you are normally comfortable with. I hose my markers off, if e frames couldn't handle a little water the whole industry would have to have a "rain" category of markers. Go watch a tourny that is in the rain. Those guys are diving into puddles and come up shooting ropes

I use an emek I just throw a lid on my rotor for the day and electrical tape the barrel ports. I try not to play in the rain tho getting to old for that ish. I Don’t heal up like I use to.

Not sure what the best setup is but it works just fine as long as you can keep the paint dry.

Just throw a lid on your hopper.

Electricity takes the path of least resistance, metal wire vs fresh water, metal wins

I can tell you anything with a powerfeed is a bad idea.

I’m thinking something mechanical, and closed bolt like a cocker, with a barrel with smaller or less porting?

what do you guys usually play with, when rain is forecast, and the games are happening, rain or shine?
Working...
