    Tornado Regulator Not Adjusting

    TORPEDO REG, NOT TORNADO!

My regulator is not adjusting pressure for some reason. No matter how much I screw in or out the adjustment screw on the bottom, the pressure stays at a steady 725psi. I took it apart and checked all the seals and o-rings, and everything looks good. There are no leaks or drop off, it just stays steady. The spring looks fine as well. Has anyone run into this?

    Do you mean torpedo?

Make sure your input isn't in the output hole

      Yes Torpedo!

      I'll edit the post.

    What he said.

For the torpedo, simply remove the lower part entirely, and then pressurize it. If the hoses are routed correctly, that will mean it is impossible for the pressure to leak/go further, as long as the o-rings are OK. In any case - that will help you finding out what the error might be.

      Great, I'll try that tonight.

It's the Schrader valve. Either the main seal is fried or the seal around it's threads isn't sealing. Either way, it's the Schrader

I find those main seals to be very picky. I purchased some on eBay a while back that worked. Some old Intimidator manuals say to use a particular oring but that didn't work for me.
