I hd no idea they had a "straight rifled" barrel, and I know mine sure wasn't.

Hi Doc, what kind of orings are best for c02 paintball guns? I recently picked up an AGD sidearm with gooey/tacky orings.

-Urethane/polyurethane are the common go-to O-rings. They're common and easy enough to find and cheap enough these days there's no reason to fight with Viton or Buna-N.

For your Sydarm, your best bet is to contact AGD directly for a rebuild kit. You might have to get a standard "Classic" 'Mag kit, and source some of the others separately, but they may also have, or be able to put you together, a kit specifically for the pistol.

          Thanks Doc!

Im working on building a magfed ion from scratch. The magwell i currently have printed takes dmag/helix mags. Do you or anyone you can refer me too designed or printed a dye dam magwell? I would love to run the box rotor on the next project

-Sorry, a little out of my range of expertise. I'm not really up to speed on either magfed in general or 3D printing. I'm more of a subtractive machinist, myself.

-My regular website email: doc (at) docsmachine.com

I don't always have time to check bulletin boards or PMs, but while I tend to be chronically behind on email responses, I do work on those daily. (Usually several times a day, depending on my workload.)

Doc, two questions; Did you write an article for either PSI or APG about 20 years ago under the title of "the spyder doctor" (I still have the magazine yet have to pull it out of storage to verify the month/year) and it gave your first name?
Secondly, and perhaps more importantly to me personally,,,
Curly, Shemp, or Curly Joe? Which one was best?

-Nope. I wrote a total of five articles for Paint Magazine, three got published, and I only got paid for one. That would have been '99-'00-ish. None of them had anything to do with Spyders.

Curly, Shemp, or Curly Joe? Which one was best?
-Gonna waffle on this one. It's been a very long time since I've seen any Stooges shorts, and the ones I have seen were mostly a sort of "best of", released on video. It depends on the particular short- Curly and Shemp both had good ones, and plenty of stinkers. I can say that Curly Joe is probably third on the list.

I prefer my humor more modern- like Airplane!, Dark Star and Blazing Saddles.

What are your thoughts about being called a "Notorious International Arms Dealer" over at Carry On?
And how do you feel about reffing a duel to the death?

-A finer accolade could not be asked for. After all, there is, of course, the Right to Arm Bears.

And how do you feel about reffing a duel to the death?
-It's not to the death, at least not intentional death. That would be against the Empress' conditions.

-Sure, except it won't fit through the pump handle. You'd be better off picking up a lightly-used Empire Trracer.
