If you have an Automag vertical ASA I have a mount to put one on a shoebox you can have.

So... second rebuild on the mayflo; problem persists.

Possible solution, us an old pps stabilizer (0-700psi) and retest.

Problem... what do I need, and how do I mount a vertical stabilizer on a Shoebox 4x4?

As long as one isn't a ham-fisted goon, taking the solenoids apart is not bad.

It's really not bad at all. Just be patient and observant.

Are there any tech articles or how-to's on disassembling and servicing the solenoids?

I just re-built a maxflow. For me, it was clear there were 2 O rings in there that were really important to get right. The teeny tiny 3/90 duro o ring, and the 9/90 duro o ring. this pic: http://www.zdspb.com/media/maxflomai...ram_large3.JPG These look to take the place of a traditional regulator seat. I opted to replace these in the original Polyurethane, where as the rest I did in BunaN.

The solenoids themselves need a light coat of grease on the spindle or whatever that part is. Oil can cause problems. As far as the specific grease, there are plenty to choose from.

As meleager said, a vid would be excellent, if possible.

I'm outta stuff to play with, so I'll take it apart and check all the rings again. While its off ill try my female stabilizer and see if it still happens.

You put a few drops of what now in the asa?

Ben , can you post a pic up of your Turbo? There are a few versions of the Max Flo. Seeing it might help the Shoebox Whisperers tickle the shocker parts of their brains further.

Actually, that said , will this new MCB site let you post a shooting vid , demoing the problem?
