What kind of cocker is this?

I came across this on a Craigslist ad. Has a paint job that reminds me of some of the old Bob Long guns, but the milling on the rail and the side is different. Maybe it’s just all custom work, but was hoping someone on here might know something about it. Also, what’s up with the barrel?

I tried to buy it just because it looked so interesting and the price was right at $200, but never was able to get a response from the seller and the ad disappeared. Even had a blue or purple Ize and VL2000. Anyways, just curious as to what I was looking at.

No clue on the gun. There is either no barrel, and it's just something silver with mesh behind it, or it's a barrel with mesh on it, not the gnarly knurling it looks like.

Looks like some custom milling and then someone sent it out to PK Selective to get anno done (pretty sure they did the Bob Long Signature guns back in the day). Still a nice looking old school rig.

I was trying to figure out that barrel situation, too. Lol. It looks like the barrel has the DYE/JT style back general shape, though... under the mesh or whatever is on it.

The VASA doesn't seem to actually match the marker's ano entirely. But I don't think that matters.

The diagonal lines milled into the body are probably the only distinguishing feature that might identify it. Unless the ano is from a particular batch/run that can be tracked.
If you need to talk, I will listen. Leave a message and I will call you back as soon as I get it.

Judging by the anno pattern, it looks like a Bob Long Autococker that has seen several changes made to it over the years. You can see the exact same pattern on mine.

The anodizing definitely has the Bob Long Signature style but I do not recall seeing a Bob Long Signature marker with those milling marks on the slab side that is in the OP's Picture.

That’s what I was thinking too. It’s really hard to tell, but I think it may even have some horizontal milled stripes near the back of the body. Wish I could have gotten my hands on it, at least then we could talk about it with decent photos.
