Glue'd AA Front to Dye Freak back?

This may be wild, but I was wondering if anyone has attempted or knows if it is possible to remove a glued AA front and either thread it, or glue it into an adapter for it to fit either a Dye back or Freak back. I typically use BMC fabrication, and would ask him, but he is temporarily not accepting work due to a move. Maybe Doc's machine could weigh in? I am not sure if the front could even be removed without damaging the ano.

Basically I got this AA barrel in a lot and I am transfixed with the Anno, I assume it is the old school PK selective, that I just love. I feel like it would match my FBM sniper well (better than the current red front).

If it can be done, let me know who the best man/woman/animal for the job would be!

    Thanks!

Have it cut to dye spec. I would not glue it. I bet Doc can do this for yah.

The aa front will need to be removed and threaded to fit a dye back....

An alternative is to buy a cocker aa back as the glue it and have it freak bored.

I would definitely rethread the tip this way you can change backs. What’s the OD on the AA back enough meat to cut the dye threads into? I’m betting it dose those barrels were pretty thick if I remember correctly.

can you re-thread the barrel and then anno' the barrel back to flat black so it matches?
