    Atomic Pickle Atom 6 "paintballs"

So either my searches are too precise or my googlefoo is failing me but i can not seem to find any reviews or discussions on Atomic Pickle Atom 6 reusable paintballs on MCB. The only thing i can find is from 2020 where someone offers to sell a test kit of pickle balls, reballs and first strike rounds. What is the word on them? To me it looks like a paintball and a wiffle ball had a baby and this is that love child.
I have a couple questions and any information would be greatly appreciated, before i ask i understand that a lot of what i am asking is subjective as in it depends on what marker you use, or the velocity you shoot them at etc i am asking more
In the video on ANS they show a person being hit from close range and it not hurting as well as video of it shooting a wall and not damaging the wall is this marketing or somewhat real?
    What are they made of?
How reusable are they, one time 500, depends on what you hit with it?
    How accurate are they?
What is the range indoor and outdoor?
They show it being used in a gravity hopper can they be shot through a forcefeed?
Is there anything else that someone might want to know about them ie don't shoot the cat with it?

They don't hurt anymore than a nerf dart does They are made of a flexible polymer, I think TPU. They fly relatively straight, but there range isn't much past 25 feet. They are super reusable and don't really wear out like a recall does. You can shoot them with a low force hopper like an eggy, but they jam up in most other force feed due to the wiffle shape. You need to shoot them in more modern guns with double detents or you will get rollbys. After ANS bought the company out I haven't seen them for sale anywhere.

Basically they are fun for indoor target shooting or low impact play with the kiddos, but don't expect to use them as a realistic training tool or for more than basic teching.

I see some comments on the old format that they ran on the small size. Be interesting to see what the ansgear style run.

dano_____ Thank you for the information I found them on ANS as a preorder and it was not something that i heard of or seen so i came to my collection of all paintball knowledge and was stumped here. To be honest with you i am not sure what i would use them for, i have old paint or reballs for testing, the little video with the can hunt and super boss they had is cool and looks like fun but i know there is no way i can shoot my marker in the house and not end up with baby wiffle balls hidden all over the house.

It did not go well! They basically fell apart when I tried taking them off the print bed. I updated the design to make them more hardy, and I am printing again. I may need to switch the print nozzle from .4mm to .2mm for better detail.

            thats awesome lol

i saw a video on line of 2 dudes that turned the pressure WAY DOWN and used regular paint. it was so low that the hardly made it across a small room.
there were even able to reuse the paint. looked hella fun diving over the couch.

I have some of the pickle balls they work in my stick fed phantom just fine. It’s loud in the house and yes they end up everywhere. But they work I shoot them on 12g. Not the best option for the kids. Paintball markers scratch easy. Nerf Works better in the house honestly.

I just printed some and one worked great. I shot it at cardboard maybe 30 times and it held up just fine. However, I am shooting from a gun that was shooting paint close to 300fps. This pickle ball would go through a cardboard box (just one side) at 10ft, it would dent it at 15ft, and not make any mark at 20. Would a pickleball do the same or would it be less impact?

I have early ones with less kinetic energy. They made different weight ones. Both worked fine in the house and hold up well without damaging anything unless maybe a lamp shade. The first ones were printed then they had them replicated and a mold was made for them. (Mine are molded) I got them on eBay.

nice work. I would prefer that for basement shooting, instead of the reballs.

I printed these and they do the trick. My kids and I had some fun shooting cardboard. My wife won't let me have the kids shoot me with it. I'm going to try to make some more that are lighter and more airy, one of the designs that printed well was very light and too airy it wouldn't shoot out of the barrel unless I shot it three times, I think no it let too much air through and not enough to catch it and propel it down the barrel. These seemed to work fine through a rotor, but that wasn't on a marker. we were using a stick feed to shoot.

That is awesome. Dang wife for taking all the fun out of letting kids shoot you.
                    Did you just TPU?
Thank you so very much for taking the time for this.

Yeah it is just tpu. It took about 5 hours to print 25 of them, two didn't print right, but I have 23 that came out pretty good.
