Get mad, use Hulk strength... as your name suggests that you are capable.

Otherwise, lick it before you stick it... in other words try lubrication.

If lube doesn't do the trick, then turn up the heat... try a heat gun (on the plastic, not the tank... duh), or throw the plastic cover in the oven for a few minutes.
If you need to talk, I will listen. Leave a message and I will call you back as soon as I get it.

Lightly wet the tank with water, and then turn the tank cover inside out. Curl the cover onto the tank, don't try to slide it in.

Is it the rubber/plastic ones? If that’s the case flip it inside out and roll it on. Otherwise, mash it.

Lube... which one? KY? Lotion? Mayo?

would that be sticky on the long run with chances of weird smell?
          🤣

Lube always work, unless you are playing in sand

            Mayo! Of course.

The smell of 90* Mayo is the smell of paintball... might as well learn to love it.

          rubbing alcohol.
Seriously, if you use something like wd-40, it will never dry and always move and slide. you want something that will dry one the cover is on. Water would work too but might not evaporate. Rubbing alcohol, spray alcohol, isopropyl alcohol will work great. Do not use hand sanitizer with lotion or gel.

Rubbing alcohol works well, we used to use it on MTB grips. We also used hair spray as it dried pretty quickly and left enough tacky residue to keep grips from slipping. Should work here as well since rubber material is similar.

                ^This.

I love my Exalt covers, but they take some finesse and foul language to get on.

Windex and slide it right on. No need to fiddle with the inside-out/rolling it on gimmick. If you have a peanut or ball shaped tank it will be tough, but doable. All other shapes and sizes are pretty easy.

Yeah, the Exalt is hard but once it's on, it's great. I also have a 2 piece from HK Army and that was easier to get on but the smaller part that is near reg continually slides off during play due to paint, sweat, and humidity. Not really a big deal but I will need to use something stronger to hold it - keep forgetting to between using it.

Maybe a dab of Shoe Goo or two will hold the front part where you want it.

I roll mine inside out and put it on like a sock on a wet foot. Get the "toe" in place on the butt of the tank then roll it back rightside-out and it's on.

This thread can be closed now. Windex did the trick! Thank you all for the suggestions. I appreciate them.
