Played all day with the zero yesterday. I got shot a few times in the mask and it did ok. I had one below the lens that did sting a little. But no bruise or mark today. I haven't gotten shot in the mouth yet and I don't know how that would feel. The bottom is further away from your face than the area below the lens and it might not be too bad.

Just a little update after my first outing with the mask. Played at Supergame yesterday. It was absolutely POURING rain and even when it wasn't raining, humidity at 100%. This mask preformed excellently. The breathability was outstanding and I noted a large difference in the heat on the lower part of my face. Normally after running around I can feel that a mask is holding in heat around the mouth. Not the case on this one.

I have the extra fun little bonus of needing glasses, and have a prescription insert placed in these goggles. I was lucky enough to get one of the Storm fans when they did the first release. However, one of the fan modules seems to get stuck, and so try as it might, it wasn't quite keeping up with the fogging on the insert. The rest of the lens and mask worked flawlessly, and having the rain insert was a huge bonus in not getting rain dripping down the inside of the mask. But... I will be contacting Carbon to see if I can get the problem with the fan fixed. I think with both fans running it may be able to hold up to the literal WORST fog conditions like the ones I had yesterday.

        Is the fan loud?

Cyberpyr8 - Not at all. Granted the game I was at wasn't exactly silent... but the fan is pretty darn quiet. I barely noticed it. I think the quietness of the mask really helps it not buzz in your ears at all. Nothing like the old/other fans I have tried.

Anyone got a lead at Crbn? I have money in hand ready to buy a more coverage moss pro, and they have been out of stock for weeks. I emailed crbn yesterday about it, but I was curious if anyone knew the deal.

Tertiary, but I grabbed the entry level CRBN OPR mask and it’s very nice. Not a huge fan of the lens system so far, but it’s not bad. Good lens and comfortable for stiffer plastic.

So I got my mask last weekend, but due to a case of Impotego on my face, I haven't tried it on yet. Im healing now, but I wont be able to wear a mask for a week of two.

For roughly $250 after tax, this is a steep price for a mask, but I now feel all of the included extras make it worth the asking price.

My box came smashed from UPS. I was disheartened until I opened it and saw my mask in a really nice custom case. The case seems high quality, padded all around, and made from what seems like high quality materials. Its mesh on the top so your sweaty mask doesn't get sour when you pack it up after playing. The case also has q small compartment i assume for an extra lens of other accessories

Inside of that compartment I found a lens cleaning cloth, some clips, and a few screws. I haven't looked into what the extra hardware is for yet.

I opened the main compartment to find an included extra clear lens wrapped in a protective cloth cover. With the mask. The removable visor was in q pocket on the bottom of the case.

The mask looks great, and SEEMS like the more coverage option will cover my head pretty good. Foam seems high quality and easy to replace. The translucent OD rubber is exactly what I wanted. It reminds me of green IZE flexes. On that note. The bottoms are pretty darn soft. Also compared to an IZE mask which some people may not appreciate.

A green bright light lens was included as well as a clear lens. I haven't attempted to swap lenses yet, but Im told its easy.

Weight wise, Ill need to get a scale out to tell you what it weighs at a later time. the more coverage mask is a bit heavier than all of the others I've held as everyone has less coverage masks. Ill compare it to my spectra, and a flex.

The visor is magnetic, but I have a beef with this feature. The visor is included on a separate frame top. This frame is solid rather than perforated like the one that is included on the mask. That being said, Id rather have the visor on the perforated top, and the solid top frame for rain days. ( ill put pics in my next post.) It is a unique idea, and pretty cool that they made it magnetic, but I'd like to see a perforated top made with magnet anchors for the visor as I like wearing visors all of the time.

Ill give a better write up when I can actually try it on.

Here is the visor and visor mount. You have to swap the top of the frame out to be able to use the visor which is less convenient than I figured.

I was disappointed too that you couldn't put the visor on the perforated top. But I have been wearing mine with the visor on in the 90*+ heat (I used the screws that came with it instead of the magnetic mount) and I haven't even thought about it not having the vents in the top since getting it. It breathes everywhere else so well that I don't really care. I would strongly suggest using the screws instead of the magnets. Mine was knocked off and shot off with just the magnets. I put the screws in it and it is great. I played the other day in the sun and was able to see really well with the visor shading me.

Changing the lens is really easy with the CRBN system. Much easier than most systems. The lenses are fantastic. They are really clear and so far the mirror finish lens hasn't gotten all scratched up and looking bad like my Push lenses did. I went with the smoke lenses with my Push because of that. It's not a big deal since both work, but I would like the mirrored lens. The more I play with the CRBN the more I really like it. I think I am going to sell my Push because I don't see myself going back to it much.
