    Strange spyder clone

Just picked this up on ebay, had to have it. I have a fetish for spyder clones, I love the single trigger frame, color and the name lol. Cant find any information about the grappler. Can anyone help me out? Thanks!

Reminds me of the old brass eagle marker. But those did not have front blocks.
The trigger looks like a very early spyder "hinged trigger".
    The grip looks like PMI.
The shape reminds me of the rhino spitfire.

i know its none of these but if youre into old spyder clones, you got a nice score there. Very retro.

It's crazy that know one knows what it is. One guy on Facebook says he remembers seeing it in a magazine but that's all he could tell me lol

It looks like a cheap (possibly foreign) Rebel clone, which was already a Spyder clone... like burning a copy of a burnt CD. You know, those nameless markers that saturated the market in the late 90's... all based off a picture in a magazine somewhere, and reverse engineered from an old owner's manual?

Speaking of odd STBB's, I still want to get my hands on a GZ with the offset/vertical powerfeed. They were rebuildable using only tank O-rings, by design, on purpose. Lol.

And the spider is a pro master clone. So copy of a copy of a copy. Lol

i don’t see a registered trademark so I’d guess they applies but never finished when sales did not happen

What's creating the black line between the upper and lower halves of the body? Is that paint or some length of plastic inset down there?

Also, how is the rear lower plug/velocity adjuster retained? Is it held in with the rear grip frame screw?

I was also wondering about that black line... first I thought it was plastic air line, then I thought it was black ano'ed metal rod, and finally I convinced myself it is a shadow/trick of the lighting and camera angle.

The rear plug is probably threaded into the body, it is knurled as if to provide grip to rotate it.

              No black line here

The black lines are plastic pieces that slide into the body like dovetails. And the velocity adjustment is threaded Into the body.
