    ASA regulator

    Hello MCB,

I'm looking for an ASA regulator (just like the female stab from PPS) but smaller.

    Anything on the compact side?
If you have one you'd sell me, let me know ...

    Thanks,

    Good luck...

There doesn't seem to be very many options, and the CMI version (CO-2000?) hasn't been made in 20 years.
If you need to talk, I will listen. Leave a message and I will call you back as soon as I get it.

The old Spyder bottomline reg may work depending what you need it regulated down to.

I need it down to 250-350 for a cocker ...
well, I might have to go with the PPS for now until something else comes up ...

Edit: what about the empire asa reg?
Can it be pushed to 350psi?

I believe that is preset to 800psi output.

I like my MaxFlo in-line adjustable reg but it’s a bottle mount reg not ASA.

What about a PMI Thor reg if you can find one? I don't recall what the output pressure range is, though.

That would be ideal ... Looking at one on ebay ...
if it doesn't work, I can always use it for another project

Cool! Definitely need to look deeper into those.

How do you adjust the pressure?
Also, any way to mount them on the bottom of the frame?

It has a really non standard mount and air outlet that goes right into the bottom of the grip frame. Might work on a special pneumag project for sure

The Palmer CART reg might work, 0-600 psi adjustment. It'll add 3 inches to your ASA.

Yes, it can be resprung but.... you need to modify a couple things to do so. Freedummy modded one for his pump Rainmaker, maybe drop him a PM about it?
And God turned to Gabriel and said: “I shall create a land called Canada of outstanding natural beauty, with majestic mountains soaring with eagles, sparkling lakes abundant with bass and trout, forests full of elk and moose, and rivers stocked with salmon. I shall make the land rich in oil so the inhabitants prosper and call them Canadians, and they shall be praised as the friendliest of all people.”

“But Lord,” asked Gabriel, “Is this not too generous to these Canadians?”

And God replied, “Just wait and see the neighbors I shall inflict upon them."

Thanks for the info on the empire asa, I'll need to dig into it ...

And good idea on the cart ... I need to pick up another one ... (I have one with the 12g dropout)

In the mean time, I picked up a female stab. I can always switch to a regular asa and a Cart in the future ...

for the price, I'll give it a shot ....
