ACParts.com slide frame trigger plate ?

Hi Y'all,

I bought a used acparts.com slider frame ..... this one

I got it empty and it needs guts ie. plate, sear, springs.

Does this frame take pre-98 plate, or 98+ trigger plate?

The frame doesn't care, as long as the plate and the sear match. I have a pre2k in mine.....

As to springs, again it doesn't care.

Edit to the above: I have a pre-98 in mine (pointy nose) that works fine.....

The 97 and older plates have a notch in them that don't work properly in a 98+ frame, if I remember correctly.

Hmmm... Now I wish I had a 98+ plate to test with. I'll retract the statement posted above, and advise checking with AC parts,com..... Thanks Jordan!

ACParts.com confirmed it's a Pre98 plate for their slider frames.

Now we know, and knowledge is half the battle !
