I think I’m limited to the GI and Rapid, since all my markers have the smaller feedneck opening.
I’ve heard the same about the Protoyz. They’re good, but heavy.
You’re right. I’m already nervous about an electronic hopper adding weight. My boys barely wanted to upgrade the guns due to the increased size and weight.

.50 Cal Electronic Hoppers

I have no experience with .50 cal in this loader, but I’ll second the Protoyz Speedster loader in general. It’s a tank of a loader & is basically a Revolution on steroids. The only real issue I could see with it is it’s weight (being for your kids). When loaded it’s heavier than a loaded Dye LTR, which is heavy to begin with. But they’re cheap, reliable & durable. I wrote an extensive review in the Reviews It section if you fancy a read.
OK, after reading a somewhat recent thread on here about midrange hoppers I decided to pick up a Protoyz Speedster to test & review. A little background: Protoyz is a child company of Planet Eclipse that primarily makes entry level soft goods. This loader is electric (powered by 4 AA batteries), can be torn down without

Thank you. Since all my markers have the smaller feedneck, I was leaning toward the Rapid, but I wanted to make sure there wasn't something I was missing.
To run the Rapid on your eNMEys, can you do the "hacksaw to a VL200" trick that some of the YouTube videos show?

It seems there are still a few .50 cal electronic hoppers out there. I’m seeking guidance identifying which ones are worth the money and which ones fit which markers.
1. It seems there are 2 gun/feedneck styles. The first scales down the feedneck, bolt, breech, and barrel (e.g., Valken Cobra, Valken Blackhawk). The second keeps the .68 cal-sized feedneck, only scaling down the bolt, breech, and barrel (e.g., FT-50, eNMEy, Emek). Is this true? In the latter case, do, the hoppers have an insert in the hopper feedneck?
2. Are there other bastardized sizes?
3. Which hoppers fit each size feedneck?
4. Which hoppers perform best?
Thank you.
For the smaller , scaled down size like your Cobra, and my pair of Kingman Opus guns, there are a couple electric loaders that were made for this size . There is the GI Milsim agitating loader, which is basically a cheaply made .50 cal revvy. It works as intended but its loud. The better one was made by Kingman , its the .50 cal Rapid https://ansgear.com/kingman-50-calib...l-loader-black , and it's like a mini pinochio . Mike TechPB has youtube vids about it, and says it was the best .50 cal loader available at the time that could keep up with his Eclipse Etek with its 50 cal kit . I have both these loaders for our Opus guns, and the Rapid is indeed the better option.
I'd like to try the Kingman Rapid on my enmey .50 cal gun but I'll need someone to 3d print me a spacer.
Another .50 cal electric loader that i've been wanting to try is the Protoyz Speedster loader. It has the regular 68-cal size feedneck but comes with an adapter for .50 cal .
If your guns have some kick you may even do well with the gravity fed Eclipse PAL loader with its green.50 cal adapter installed. I have one with the adapter for my .50 cal gog enmey , and a 2nd without the adapter for our Tipppman .50 cal Cronus (the cronus has the 68 cal size feedneck, but then it narrows down to 50 cal size into the breech) . The PAL has that shelf inside to help reduce the jams, but I did notice using it on my enemy ( which has no kick) that I was having to shake the gun quite often.
Hope this helps,

I have been able to use a Valken vmax+ with 50 cal and no issues. The switch and others mentioned are better alternatives, but if you can't find any, the Vmax will work too. I used to lend mine out at our field for kids that wanted to go rip 50 cal paint. Plus it holds a ton of 50 cal paint!

Valken Switch, if you can find one with all the existing .50 parts

You can still find Valken VSL hoppers on eBay. They can switch between .50 and .68 cal with the swapping of their impeller (included) and installing the .50 cal feed adapter (also included) in the neck. I've never personally used mine in its .50 cal version, but as a .68 cal loader it has worked very well for me even on electros and RT & X-Valve Mags.

Valken Blackhawks
I am looking at eNMEys and Emeks though, so any info for those is also appreciated.
