    First Strike Tanks in Canada

So I've been looking at tanks recently, and I'm looking at tanks under 61 co for the fact that they are good until end of life here in Canada without periodic retesting.

I also noticed that the First Strike Tanks have an unlimited life.

Does this mean what I think it means?

I know that it's filler's discretion as to whether or not they want to fill it, and if I were to get one, I'd probably get it retested periodically after the first 15 years just for piece of mind, but are there any legal requirements?

My local field know about the new ruling of 61ci.
They don’t really want to allow it.
they only check when it is a big event.
found a fire extinguisher hydro tester that charged me 23$cad for my tank.
Dealer for: Roasted coffee and TechT products.

I'm not too concerned about my current field not allowing them. I'm pretty sure half the rental tanks are 15+ years old, and I'm pretty sure they didn't bother to retest them even when it was mandatory to do so.

I'm moving away in the next year or 2 so I'm not sure how anal those fields will be about tanks...

Apparently, yes, the 15 yewr lifespan doesn't apply to FS bottles. Not sure how or why, but I've been looking at getting a 50ci with a powerhouse reg for a while now. The new 15cu FS tank seems like a good replacement for my 26cu also.

I just spoke to the owner of a local paintball shop, and he says that transport Canada is still trying to make a decision on these.

Also, aluminum/steel tanks with a 3ALM stamp are good forever apparently...
