ID:	54276 Picked up a RAP4 box mag recently and working on getting it back into working order. I am having trouble with the feed system though. There’s a thin metal piece that I believe prevents balls from rolling back, but seems to obstruct the motor from feeding balls. Shown in the top right of photo)

The motor spins fine and I can manually feed with the wheel on the bottom, just no luck feeding paintballs. In disassembly the metal piece popped out before I could see it’s original position, but it’s made to fit into a slot where I it currently.

Anyone have any advice on this thing? Can’t find much info on the web, no manuals at all.

Have you tried just taking it out?

If you are right and it just prevents rollbacks, as long as you have paint in the loader it shouldn't really effect anything with it out

Removing it will be my next step. Found a little bit of a parts diagram for the loader but shows the metal tab pointing upwards which makes no sense. It only fits in one specific way.

What part number is it? I'm having a hard time finding it

A-008. It’s in the middle of the page. Part of the bottom feed elbow.

Ok I see it and I see your confusion as well. That diagram is an exploded view and it's not in position where is supposed to be so it is supposed to point down as you have it

Took the piece out and gave it a test. No more jams when feeding, no issues with balls rolling out of the feed stack. Might be an issue when there’s not a lot of paint left in it, but now works ands feeds as it should. Thanks for the assistance Trbo!
