    Packs With Suspenders?

Hey guys, I've been looking at pod packs with suspenders recently, and I'm looking at getting the kind with an integrated water bladder pouch in the back (like the BT Static Vest, or Dye Assault Harness) for big game use.

Does anyone here have any experience with these products (or at least this type)? I wasn't able to find much online, beyond the basic ANS 'review'/spotlight videos.

    Any help would be appreciated.

My secret Santa sent me a Dye Assault Harness a few years back. It has become my go-to pack when playing with my M17. I actually like it a lot more than more traditional battle belts since it fits like a modern paintball pack with elastic velcro straps.

        The BT static is fantastic.

It has a molle system so you can customize how you do your pouches. You have a clue loops on the shoulder straps but most all all are on the back. There is a small pouch for a water bladder or whatever. It feels like a pod pack, but with the support of a vest. I really like it quite a bit.

I had used one for about 5 years before it got too stretched out (plus I lost a lot of weight...) and grubby. I just bought a new one for next season. It's a great, and cheap pack. Highly recommend it.

I've not used them with a pack in paintball but I do use them with my pants when I play and they work great and see no reason they would not work with most pod packs.

Old Unique Sports pod pack typically had suspenders.

I am not a fan of the side clips but I do like the other suspenders they sell.

Thanks for the feedback guys. I was looking for a pack that kind of mimicks the old school military webbing, but with molle so I can do whatever configuration I want.

Are the pouches in the back actually big enough for a water bladder? I know lots of vests advertise them, but then the pocket is only a sad 6" deep or so.

Here is what my father in law uses. 6+3 for pods and does have a pouch for a water bladder. You do need to supply your own bladder though

Ok thanks for all the help guys. Now I'll just have to decide between the Static Vest, Assault Harness, and a custom piece I just found.

I ran with a black one of these Condor harnesses for my magfed setup at Michigan Monster Game this year. It belongs to one of my teammates and he wasn't coming this year so he lent it to me.

                  Affordable and very comfy.

Undr has a molle ready harness I've been looking into getting. It's called the Paladin. Very modular!

One of my favorite set-ups is a Molle battle belt with military style suspenders, with a milsurp USMC camelbak pouch attached (they are made to be connected with quick clip buckles, and hold 3L -you can use any small-mouth bladder). Cheap to put together and flexible. If I'm running and gunning, I can put pod packs around my waist. If I'm going light, I can use 10-rd tube panels and run pump/sc. I like the added flexibility versus traditional paintball packs because I find only having one pod arrangement, location, or orientation limiting. I went from carrying around 3 different pod pack/hydration bladder rigs to every scenario to only using this set-up for the last 5 years.

                      Battle belt with suspenders: https://www.ebay.com/itm/Battle-Belt...kAAOSw4ntcVevP

Camelbak designed to be mounted: https://www.ebay.com/itm/USMC-US-Mil...UAAOSw0Ptfwp4C

If you're having trouble finding molle paintball pod pouches, most AR-15 double mag pouches will hold an old-school 100-rd pod with a tight fit.
