    Craigslist VM-68

So I spotted this last week and was able to snag it with all the junk that they had with it for a pretty good price of $95 shipped and I got it in the mail today. Looked even better in person than the pictures. Can’t find a single problem with the anodizing. I’ve had a couple VMs over the years, but never one like this.
So I was just curious if anyone can tell anything about it as far as who may have done the milling and anodizing?
Apparently it’s a John Gross Florida Paintball Center marker. Thanks to Bacci and Ecapnation for the info.

Holy cow! If that's not a contender for "score of the year" then I don't know what is. The stock being used as the rear sight... SO COOL!

Sorry I'm no help as I know nothing about VM-68's, but dang that is just too cool. Nice pickup!

That's amazing! Needs to be shown on the VM Empire Group on FB for sure ... Hit me up if you want to sell it

Looks like it was Annodized by whomever did PTP anno... Pattern is very similar to theirs

I already sent Forest at PTP an email just to ask. 👍

Wowwwww. That's amazing. The ano totally looks like PK Selective's work and the machine work is just awesomely old school. That's badass. Nice f***ing score, man.

Wow! Always wanted one of those. It does look like PTP had their hand in this. The body looks like a Carter or something Gabe Tyler would drum out in his shop. Beautiful marker.

If you look on your feed neck it is stamped FPC that is the biggest tale of who did the customer work on this.

FPC stands for Florida Paintball center, and is the machine work of John Gross. This is the second VM 68 he has done I own the first. He's mostly known for doing automags and autocockers and some pretty funky work among them This looks like he finally got comfortable with the VM 68s and something really strange.

Attached is my John Gross FPCVM

I emailed Dan Bacci last night and he got back to me and said the same thing. I noticed the engraving on the feedneck but didn’t know what it meant until Dan emailed me back. Cool to see another one, I really like the grip frame on yours.

That is the coolest VM I have ever seen. Well maybe it is tied for first place with bored383 VMX.

                  Wurd.

Both of those VM's look amazing. The stock on the first is really clever.

I remember back in the day, there were all sorts of cool stocks that attached to the rear plugs. Wire stocks, t stocks, thompson stocks, car stocks, etc. stocks in general went away as people moved away from front and vert tanks, towards bottom lines. But as most of my guns are vert or front tanks, I try to have a nice stock on just about everything own.

I first thought that VM was palmer-milled. One of has techs, Dan Debone, did many in the 90s, and looked like this. But I guess if you are going to try and trim as much metal as you can.... the end result is probobly similar
