Used EMEK prices?

I'm thinking about picking up a couple to use as loaners. What is the price range for used EMEKs these days?

Also is the whole PAL hopper setup any good? My use case for these is to put them in the hands of children age 10 and up. Don't need crazy rof, just solid enjoyable experience.

Normal stock ones, no upgrades I have seen around $225. You can sometimes find them for cheaper but they move quick at $200 or below, as long as they're not completely beat up. Also maybe someone is willing to part with one for cheaper. You just have to be on the look out for the deals.

I don't know much about the PAL as I never really used it, but I hear it is okay on the EMEK but still kind of a shake and bake set-up as that internal tray for the PAL doesn't seem to move that much. For beginners and the yutes I don't think it will be a problem, the hopper is pretty robust and could take a beating.

PAL was frustrating to me. I got a pal one convinced I wanted to run a setup that had 0 batteries in it but could still shoot a decent amount of paint

That lasted about 2 games

It doesn't feed good enough for anyone with a little experience on the trigger. I haven't put the pal hopper back on since then. I think it's a decent idea it just doesn't feed good enough in the real world. I'd love to see a version where the pal piston is larger and instead of just agitating it winds a drive cone spring instead so the hopper is still actually force feed

$200-250 is what I would expect to pay for a used one, I would just get whatever version pops up, don't worry about pal or not

Thanks guys! That's kinda what I was expecting on the PAL. I've got some revy's in a tote somewhere... sounds like that is going to be the way to go.
