I put it together on Friday and played with it for the first time on Saturday and it all clicked. It's exactly what I want it to be.

How compatible are Fokuses with Spyder parts? I'm thinking about doing a build with a balance valve and single trigger frame.

Thanks. I'm still on the fence about it. I have a doc barrel adapter coming for it, so I'll have some options.

For a while I've wanted to keep the pirate in bolt-action mode, but the short stock kinda gave me nowhere to hold onto when cocking. I decided to take the pump handle and repurpose it:





Also opted to swap the stabilizer for an on/off because it was doing more harm than good.

Honestly. With rock and cock, CA, I can hold my own against electros. 12 grams slow me down just enough to make me bunkerable. I highly recommend tube fed CA set up.

Posting to add my new Ranger, which has been a fun shooter so far. anson built this guy, and I'm really impressed with it. The UC setup and the SM1 frame make it feel so premium.

Some issues with rollouts and double feeds due to the bore drop design, and no step to rest the freedummy detents on.

Decided to take care of the double feeds at least. Drilled for a Spyder detent. Did some minimal testing, but it's working so far. The slight angle on the bolt goes a long way to prevent the body from just cutting the detent off.



Acquiring an iFit for this guy to cut down on rollouts and that should be it.

I am sure I must have seen this marker at some point over the years but this is the first time I have ever slowed down to look at it properly. Kinda reminds me of a beefier Automag with a lot more that is unique to itself. One of the nicest markers regarding the proportions of everything fitting together.

Where can I score one of those stick feeds like the one on your mag

They are pretty hard to come by. It was made by @pocalypse Paintball, who I haven't seen on since the MCB reboot.

XEMON has been making a version if it, but the ones I have take the Empire springfeed tubes. Maybe he can help you out with it, though.
