As you can tell from my guns that come and go, I am not much of a collector. I prefer to get stuff, use it and pass it on to someone else that will use it. But I am now starting to collect a few things. I have a few of the Mad Fuego barrel socks. They are really great and I always have people comment on them. Here's my current group. I had an Imperial trooper but I sold it with one of my guns. These are staying.

Added some more recently. I'm giving the Child with the squid to a buddy at the field. It's hard to part with it because it's really cool but I know he will appreciate it.

Also love these Carbon masks. I ended up selling them to get the VPR and Blood Trooper to replace them. The thing I really miss is the cases.

Finally decided to upgrade the Emek since I use it as my primary. Bought the FLE body, fang and hair valve for it.

Got a gunmetal FLE body for the Emek and sold my LV 1.6 and bought another Axe like I had before.

Added the red splash FLE body to the non-pal Emek I bought. Looks pretty good.

I haven't updated in a while. Here's the Axe Pro I bought and already re-sold.

            My son's CVO. 'Merica!

I bought a non-pal Emek for my son to use but he decided to hold off. I sold this one off a few days ago.

I bought an Etha 2 to go with my FLE Emek. These are the Fraternal Twins.

Picked up a cheap Gog eNMY. Threw the little tank and CF barrel on it. It will end up probably being a loaner or get donated to the foster home field that I have been helping out with.

Also updated the trigger on the Etha 2 to a blade and added the magnetic trigger mod. It is much snappier with the magnet mod. I also added Exalt back caps to both guns.

Updated picture of the Emek with Exalt back cap and whole setup.

Added an Automag and a couple more headbands. Also picked up an old Pinokio hopper just in case I need another electric hopper.

Also bought another TriSplash Shocker XLS. I kinda missed my old one.

I bought a Proto Rize Maxxed to let my daughter's boyfriend have a gun to use. Plus I missed my old one and thought it would be nice to have one around again. Put the Carbon IC barrel on it and it's a decent setup.

                Bought/ordered and waiting on:
                2011 black and silver G6R
Jerseys Clinic winter 2021 HyperPro jersey
Tank covers (for HK 68/4500 tank) and PE gun bag

Also bought another PAL enabled Emek for my son in NC to have. I also added a POPS to it.

Silver Bullet DSR that I traded through Punisher PB for my Punishers XLS.

                        I bought a Victory

Sold the Victory and selling the Silver bullet DSR for an upgraded red DSR.

Bought a HK HSTL splash mask

Bought another Insight. This one seems to be in great shape and has everything my other one was missing. Rhino mod on the stock engine and the Reflex Engine were both included. I hope this is the reliable Insight that I wanted.

I probably over spent on this one but I haven't seen an Insight with the rhino mod and reflex engines both sold together in a long time. I have no idea what a fair price really is. Whatever, it's only money! I loved my other Insight except it didn't work halfway through the day because of the lack of upgrades. This should fix those issues. Can't wait to get this one in. Since I'm already in over my head with it, maybe I'll anno it to match everything else. I'll see how it works. I think for now I'll keep the Emek, DSR, G6R and Insight. That's a good mix of reliable but boring and fun but less reliable.

This means the Geo will go up on the chopping block after the first of the year but it was another boring but reliable marker. It didn't help it was green. If it was silver or red I probably would have loved it more.

Got the DSR in today. I missed not having my other one playing over the weekend but the G6R did a great job in the warmer weather.

Just bought a 2012 G6R. This one is fully upgraded. I can't wait to get it.

I started looking at building an Emek with the Stanchy double trigger. I love my stock Emek and thought it might be fun to have a double trigger version. I owned an Etha2 before but it's just not the same. Plus, I wanted one that was all mechanical and uncapped. I shoot my electrics on semi so a mech version of the Emek with double trigger seems like the mix of both. I decided to keep track of what I did in case anyone else wants to do one. Obviously, you can do it cheaper than I have but it is at least the steps I followed to build one.

I started by purchasing a used Emek PAL enabled version. I found this one on a Central FL Facebook group. The guy was selling it fairly cheap and it was missing the stock barrel and feedneck locking lever. Not a problem for me since I had another full body and plenty of barrels. I bought it for $205 shipping and fees included. A little more than I wanted to pay but it checked all the boxes and still was saving me around $50 for the next cheapest Emek I could find at the time.

As you can see, it came in really dirty. I cleaned it up and tested it. Fired fine but I still went ahead and put my old Emek body and uppers on it. It still has the vinyl carbon wrap on it but I will remove that if/when I decide to keep it and get it hydrodipped. I added a 3D printed back cap. It just makes removal of the bolt easier. I picked this up a while ago when I was using 3D printed bodies. It is a nice upgrade over the stock one. Since it was sitting around I figured I would use this rather than spending the money for an Exalt aluminum one.

Now for the rest of the build. I bought a new Hair 45 valve ($89) since I feel like they are faster than the 3 way valves. For $20, I felt it was the better product for a (hopefully) fast shooter.
Upgrade your Eclipse Emek with the Deadlywind Hair 45 Trigger Valve. This easy to install upgrade takes your basic Planet Eclipse Emek and Turbo Charges your firepower. The Hair 45 Trigger upgrade is a must have for any Emek or EMF100 Paintball Gun. Free shipping as always at ANSgear.com

I went for the Stanchy double trigger kit with the SSC Aluminum Scythe CS1 trigger and kit ($70). I did black knowing I will probably have it changed to another color if I decide to keep it.
The Original Double Trigger Emek Kit!These fit BOTH the emek and etha 3m!This is an invasive project, but a ton of fun!You must cut off your factory trigger guard.Included in the kit:New Double Finger Trigger GuardNew Frame Screw (10-32 x .625 Low Head) Socket Cap ScrewEmek-CS1 Dual Bearing MountNew Bearing Pivot PinWe

So the frame has been cut. I used a Dremel that I have for cutting door frames doing my flooring. I tried to cut it as close as I could. This was the scariest part to me. You only get one shot at it and I wanted to get it as close as I could. I wasn't sure about the bottom part since every one I've seen has left the bump there. I think it came out pretty good. I then sanded it down to make the cuts cleaner.

Took the vinyl wrap off and cleaned it some more, plus removed the stock valve. Did I mention it was really dirty? This is more up to my standards.

I ended up getting a FLE body for it. I was going to hydrodip but I saw the matte red FLE and had to get it. Even if I don't keep this thing, I will keep the red body and put it on my Emek. I love the way these body's look more than any of the 3D printed bodies or even hydrodipping the stock body. Plus it gives me a real feedneck.

Update: So I ordered the FLE version but I got a call from Inception Designs and they told me there was a mistake. They posted it as a FLE but in fact, it was the (as of 1/28/22) unannounced Fighter Body kits. They sent me pictures and asked if I wanted that instead of the FLE. I decided that I would take it. So I am getting the new style ID body kit for Emeks. Super stoked for that. It seems to be stuck between Philly and GA. Tomorrow will be 7 days in the USPS system. Hopefully it shows up soon!
Check out the Inception today. You will find great deals on all Inception gear.

The Hair 45 valve came in next. It is a drop in component and installs fairly easily. This will make the Emek shoot much faster than the stock valve. Plus I removed the stock spring. I did this with my normal Emek and with the Hair and Fang trigger made the shot pull light and fast. This double trigger upgrade is all about speed so I decided to remove it to make it as fast as possible.

Last but not least, the Stancy double trigger. This is why I started all this. The install is easy once the frame is cut and prepped. You take the stock trigger out by punching the pin out out of the right side of the marker. Take the 4 screws out of the top and remove the trigger. Put the new one in. Since this is a CS1 trigger you put it in and the trigger attaches to the trigger base.

                            Costs:
                            Emek: $205
                            Hair: $ 89
                            Trigger $ 70
FLE Body Kit and Barrel $284
                            --------------
                            Total $648

I will also add a Pops ASA. I have them on all the others I have owned and they just make degassing the marker so much easier.

Once the Fighter body comes in I will take it for a proper test run. So far, in the back yard it works pretty well. It is shooting pretty fast and isn't really missing a shot. I need to adjust the trigger a little more to get it where I like it, but it's getting close. More updates to come.

Here's the final product (minus a POPs)

Update 2-11-22: After mulling it over, I am sending back the Fighter body in favor of the FLE and I'm getting it annoed. I like the fighter body but I think the FLE is just cleaner. There's a lot of lines on the top and I don't think I like it as much as the FLE. That means it's back to the stock body for now. I have been busy and got hurt so I won't be out to the field for at least a few weeks. That should give them time to get the new FLE done and back out to me. Further updates to come. I will probably switch the new body to my regular Emek and use the gunmetal I have on this build.

Got the new FLE body in and sold the Gunmetal. This thing is beautiful. I sent the barrel out to BMC Fabrication to get it Freak XL bored. For $40 more it was worth it to me. I don't normally use the stock barrels but I might use this one. With it bored it makes it a lot more appealing. (Can't get the image to display for some reason. Link above or in sig.)

Some updates. As I mentioned, I sent back the fighter body and got the tri-splash FLE body. Sold my gun metal FLE body too. I sent the tri-splash barrel to BMC Fabrication to get Freak XL bored.

Also picked up the new crimson Carbon Zero more coverage mask and silver gray lens.

How do you like the new Carbon mask? I use larger/more protective masks, but that looks mighty tall even compared to my Proshields.

I love the fit and it breathes great. But it is really soft. I got hit in the mask right below the lens from a good distance away and I thought I might end up with a bruise. It didn't stop much. I had paint all over my face and it stung a little. I will probably try it again another day but I switched back to my Push. I think that I should have gone with the other model that has the stiffer bottom half. I really like the lens and the way it sits on my face without putting pressure on my nose is great. I have sinus issues and masks that push on your nose really don't work for me. The Push is about the only one I can wear anymore. The visibility is great and the wide strap feels secure. It is bigger than my push with the chin extension. But it doesn't feel big. It covers below my jaw line and even with my mouth open, the chin area in the front covers. The jury is still out for me. If I was playing speedball where I would likely get hit point blank in the mask, I wouldn't wear this. It's too soft. For rec playing where I don't get bunkered in the face very often, it might be ok.

The hard-bottomed ones kind of appeal to me, but since they're still new I haven't seen much of them yet. I much prefer hard lowers.
I don't have sinus issues, but I'm close to having LASIK done, so I've been trying to pay attention to new and different mask offerings.

Thank you for the information. I appreciate it.
