Yeah I want to look at the schedule and see what works best I don’t want it to interfere with other games especially any Stock Class/ Outlaw/ Pump days. I’m going to scope it out first see how it will work best. I would like to add a Stock Class 2.0 game in to the current schedule. But I want to work out logistics before I commit to something. Like camping would be a big plus. I prefer to talk with the owner in person face to face. See if we can build a SC following in that area and draw them for some of our other games as well.

I looked at their website. the fields look pretty cool. And they have tall bunkers so those of us who are not vertically challenged or who are vertical mobility challenged can actually stand.

Yeah it looks like they have a bunch of rail road tie structures built like Lincoln logs. Similar to what Sherwood uses on there field.

What would you guys say to a game there on August 7th? It looks like you can book private groups for 5+ players.

We have a scenario game down here in MD on the 21st so any other week in August works for me.

EDIT: Whoa, just looked at prices. Private groups for up to 15 players are $600 but that includes rental.

Oh so it’s the same price for self equips. $29 for pre reg $39 day of. $80 a case of Graffiti or $25 a bag. Yeah that’s expensive. I would definitely pre reg to save the $10

So like
$110 day with a case
$55 day with a bag

Definitely a limited paint type field at that price. They are in NJ so they get the paint from the same distributor as my home field. It should be pretty consistent and decent. I don’t mind paying as long as they are providing good paint. Valken shoots good in these parts. “They Guarantee the paint quality” not sure what that means.

So at the premium private group rate $749 it’s a few bucks more then pre reg price with a bag and you get your own ref at the 12 player mark.

With 12 players @ ($ 62 each) It would give you entry, a bag of paint, and a private group/ref. Not completely unreasonable for a nice Stock Class day. (You don’t need 15 to get a private group you can have less) I picked 12 because they give you 6000 paintballs so (12 players @ 500 each everyone gets a bag)

Now here is the tough part would people be willing to pre reg for a Stock Class 2.0 game @ $62 for a bag an entry. We would probably need a minimum of 12 to make it worth it. (A 2nd bag would be another $25 if you need it)

I’m going to check it out regardless I don’t mind playing limited paint with walk ons. But it would be cool if we could get another SC get together in.

There is camping nearby as well. So we get enough interest in the future we could possibly build it into another two day event. Make it worth the trek.

I think we could get at least 12 to pre reg @$62 to hold the the Private group spot. Then anyone that wants to could just do the $55 (pre reg) or $65 (day of) walk on with a bag and just roll with us.

The first weekend in August I will be at ICC. August 7th I will be in Atlantic City for a buddy's Bachelor party. I could hit up Pinnacle on the way back (August 8th) looks like it’s about 1h 30min ride from Atlantic City. Or any other weekend in August would work for me. Slims game is the last weekend in September so I want to keep it in August.

I might setup a poll tonight for what weekend works best in August. What do you guys think is the best way to organize this. Would people feel comfortable PayPal me for preregistration and I just book a date with pinnacle. We would need 12 to commit. Not sure if it’s against forum rules as well. I just don’t want to lay out the $750 and have it fall threw, and I’m not sure how people feel about PayPaling me. I mean I could just take it and put it all on black in Atlantic City…. lol

What’s your thought on the bast way to get it going? I think the private group is the way to go. We would just need 12 to pre reg to make the numbers work. Otherwise we could just do a walk on day @ 55 or 65 each

I figured most would not have a problem with it. Most of the people playing stock class in the NE know or have meet me know my reputation is worth more then the $750. But I want to clear it with the mods before, and hammer out a few more details like possible camping sites and such. + I have to come up with a cool catchy name.

5 hour drive for me. Too much for a single day to drive there and drive back, but if I could find reasonable accommodations/camping or a traveling buddy I'd be down for a mini road trip.

That's a big hike but carpooling and camping might work. Slap the old valentine one on the dash might not be too bad of a drive. Bunch of private and also a state campground nearby.

I know I'd be completely wiped and not want to drive 5 hours after playing though. Sunday is usual play day for most but a Saturday could work better for some of us new englanders. Drive down friday night, camp, play saturday, camp, back on Sunday. Could do a big seafood dinner or something else fun Saturday night.

Is the stock class just no hoppers or tanks?

Horizontal feeds only. Elbow should be setup to minimize ball stack (usually pretty flexible interpretation). 12g as air source only. No more than 20 rounds on the marker at any time. Auto triggers and hitman plates OK. Air regulation is OK.

Carry enough paint and air to play 2 games, usually flip sides and go again.
