Can't swing this weekend, but definitely down to go in the near term.

If any of you go, take some pics and post up your experience. Would love to know!

Overall, a facility that is off to a good start and has a lot of potential. I took a bunch of field pics that I'll post up later. Location is right on 202, right after the bobcat dealer as you head to the Epsom rotary. Veteran owned business.

Was told that the facility is large, around 70 acres, still a work in progress. Place got trashed apparently before the new owners came in, and they put a LOT of work into getting this place ready. Nice size staging area, but shade is limited right now so pop-up shelter is a good idea. Plenty of room to spread out. Fields are very well prepped and groomed. No rocks, stumps, roots sticking out or anything, very clean. I didn't wear knee pads and did fine, pleasant surprise.

Small store right at the field if you need a headband, lens, etc. If you are looking for first strike markers, there are some on the wall to check out as well as some azodins. Cowboy, the owner, is in tight with FS and does a lot of tech work at events for them on the east coast. Cold drinks are reasonably priced. Check in quick and easy.

First strike rounds, valken, and first strike roundballs are the paint choices right now. Cowboy stated that he isn't tied to a brand, and plans to stock what people want to shoot and what he can get fresh. We both shot FS warhawk roundball, I liked it. Easy to see in flight, always broke when it got there, didn't see any bouncers. Shot small at 679 but stayed that size all day. No dimples, nice seams, no breaks in the bags. The air system is awesome and it fills to 4500psi every...single...time.

2 full fields right now, work in progress. One is a hybrid village/woodsball field the other more speedball. Preferred the village/woodsball field. You could snipe, go door to door, or sneak through the woods, something for everybody. Other field played like a speedball field, although kinda wide and a bit short, you were on each other quick. Several other fields are planned, lumber prices are nuts right now.

Players with FSR were mixed in with us roundballers for the day. It was a small crowd so everyone was one big group including rentals. No major incidents or anything due to FSR use, only thing that was different was hearing FSRs flutter by your bunker. Otherwise an ordinary day of paintball. No ROF wars, was all about movement and accuracy, field ROF limit of 10.2 strictly enforced. Good gunfighting.

Staff/owners wanted tons of feedback which was great, they were listening to suggestions from us all day. Very welcoming/friendly/helpful staff as well. Some growing pains getting refs trained and what not to be expected, refs were more observers today and just letting us go at it during gameplay. They are on the ball with field safety though, random chrono checks and I've never seen so many refs on a field at once. They handled one or two of the magfed guys that did not like getting hit very professionally.

They will do private games, they aren't sure on whether the min # of players to book will be 8 or 10 though. Could be a good spot for a pump or stock class day.

You can bring extra paint back to the field next time you play, but they seal your box when you leave FYI and put a date on it, good for 6 months. Didn't really mind this, you know the paint is less than 6 months old and won't bounce off you like marbles because it's stale. It's not standard packing tape to seal the boxes, so it won't be easy to spoof.

So I liked the place and I'm curious to see how it expands going forward, tons of potential here. Probably a 50/50 mix of magfed and std ballers, not all the magfed guys were shooting FSR. Dealt with more warhawk hits than FSR hits. Great airsystem, strong staff, and pretty good paint.

I'll get some pics up at some point but right now there is a bunny going nuts trying to get my attention LOL. He doesn't like it when i play with my "other" friends all day.

        A few pics

This is what you see walking in, speedball field and chrono to the left, staging is off to the right. Assemble at bleachers for each game.

What left tape looks like. 2 story structure, 40 ft container with pallets inside. Lots of hidden firing angles.

Another view of the speedball field showing all different types of bunkers. You can see the tip of far flag station in center of trail. The blue tank is playable with awesome shooting angles, but it is LOUD in there!

Thanks for the write up. The field looks to be on the right track. I used the FS Warhawk at Slims spring game and can also confirm it shoots well.

Shaftski already touched on all of the important points. I would echo everything he said. Overall it was a good time there on Saturday. To add my .02 and a few pics I took.

            The good:

            - The staff were all very friendly and always available around in the staging areas and the check-in stand/store. If anything, Mike and I both commented that they almost had _too_ much staff, if that's even a thing. No complaints about anyone working there.

            - The paint. FS Warhawk was probably the best I've shot so far in my short time being back playing.

            - Air fills. First time for me getting full 4500 every fill.

            - Fields were level and clear of any debris or obstacles sticking out of the ground.

            - Location. It's an easy drive right on Rt. 4/202

            The so-so

            - Only two fields playable right now. As mentioned above, they have ~70 acres available to them. I guess there are some other fields there from previously, but aren't in playable shape right now. Lots of potential for the future.

            - Turn around time between games was taking too long. Lots of milling around in the staging area waiting and waiting for more people. They'd announce they were going to leave for the next game in 5 minutes, but it would easily by another 15-20 minutes before we even started walking out to the field. I'm sure this is just a learning curve thing for them.

            - Refs not being engaged during some games. During one, I was taking tons of splatter through the crack of the door of the container. Called for a ref a bunch of times to clean it off and never got one to come over. As Shaftski said, probably still a learning curve thing

            - Some of the magfed dudes needed to take it down a notch. One guy I cleanly shot twice in the back comes over after the game and says belligerently, "Which one of you shot me in the back and then I shot you and you didn't come off the field? Huh? None of you want to own up to it, eh??" Uh-huh. He never had a chance to turn around and even get a shot off. Another got very bent out of shape after a fire fight with Shaftski, to the point the owner had to go over and talk him down. This is nothing directly the fault of the field though.

Overall, it's a very well run field with lots of future potential once they expand past the two fields they have now. I plan on going back at some point soon.

There are a good amount of hotheads in the magfed community in my experience. If he got shot in the back then why would he be admitting to turning around and shooting after the fact?

            #22
Cowboy posted a ton of pics of opening weekend on their facebook page for those interested. There's a few of me with my green cocker, saw a few of ketzer7 too.
The short fused in the mag fed community are usually the younger, video game raised, COD crowd. A real life firefight just isn't the same and they hate it when you get the drop on them.

I think one of the next fields he is going to build is a mounds. May try and check them out this year.
