BYOP at AG this Sunday Sep 19

Any interest? I might check it out, so far the weather looks great for Sunday.

Very tempting. Do I want to take the drive?

Pivot in plans, going to AG tomorrow instead and meeting ketzer7 there. It's day one of their open rec 2 day event w/camping so there should be a good turnout, but looks FPO tomorrow.

I’m gonna get in some outlaw 12g practice but in October I’ll be open to traveling to more “away” games

With all the driving I've done to work this week I think I'm staying local. I'll see you guys soon!

I believe it's actually a "24 hour" event, correct? Either way, it's 20 minutes away and I wont have time to play. sorry gents

Catch most y'all at Slim's next weekend.

I'll report back on what the camping area is looking like.

Thank you. Pics would be awesome too. Then we can figure out what we need to bring. I couldn’t hammer stakes into the hard packed dirt last time, so was considering making sand bags to hold down a tarp line this time, but can skip that if there is any soil/grass to set up on. Much appreciated.

Camping area looks about the same as Slim's spring event, so everyone plan accordingly.

Fields were super swampy too, actively running water crossing the walking paths between fields. Hyperball was a literal mud pit. Hope things dry out by next weekend but it looks like even more rain this week. 2 or 3 fields were just unplayable. Bring shoes you don't care about or hip waders, LOL.

Had a tree fall during active gameplay on one of the fields it's so damn swampy. Missed me and the guy playing the same building in urban village by not very much, it hit the 2x4 crossbar over the door a few feet behind us. Good 30 foot tall tree that someone leaned on and that's all it took. No one got hurt thankfully. Far end of the field is like a pond and that's pretty high ground. That was a first for me.

Parking lot on the other hand may as well be poured concrete. I'm probably bringing weights for my popup and putting tent on plywood on truck bed.
