question....

having never been to MSG...what is staging going to be like? do i need my pop-up for shade? do i need to bring a table and chair?

They have limited covered staging. You shouldn't need a table and chair, but the pop-up is a good idea.

gotta be careful with the sun...got a lil reddish yesterday even though i was fully shaded in staging at OSG.

I'm definitely bringing an EZ-UP and camp chairs. Unless they replaced them, the plastic lawn chairs they have there are old, cracked and ready to collapse under the weight of a flea.

Currently have to rescind my attendance: The Old Ladies car just got loaded on a flat bed and is heading to the dealership for another transmission replacement (under warranty) and she's working Saturday so I'll have to be local to give her a lift.
I am Le Sad.

We replaced said transmission 4k miles ago.... at the dealer, with a NEW CVT, not a re-man. It did the exact same thing as the last one. I called up the dealer furious.
