There was a tremendous turnout for team scrimmages on the airball fields, but Ajackz and the three boys that were with him were the only ones who played on the (much more interesting) wooded and mound fields off to the side. These other fields are so far removed from the two big airball fields that you really need to re-park your car to get to them from the fieldhouse and air stations.
There was a good amount of other players there to run pickup games on the less developed of the two airball fields, and I got a couple games in but mostly spent the afternoon getting used to my new drone.

Pretty much what Inflicted said. We have always played on the “other/ rec-ball fields” which are a ton of fun! But the magic is a little lost when it’s 2 v 2. They kiddos got to experience a full day of AirBall for the first time with more than just the three of us. Fortunately for my wallet and my mental health (controlling two teenagers and an 11 year old proved to be daunting”) the kids were worn out and decided to end the day around 2pm.
this was my first time attending the farm on a Sunday, the the other times we played on Saturdays with some locals who were happy to show us all of the fields and play hopper ball which I much prefer. I have yet to attend on a day that there were more than 12 people in total attendance on the rec-ball fields. In the future it may be worth calling them and seeing if anyone had made reservations before choosing where to go.
If we could get a group of 10-16 people would make for an incredible day.Comment

NPI gets decent rental crowds on saturdays. They mix self-equipped with rentals unless there's a private group, and/or there's enough self-equipped to run by themselves.Pretty much what Inflicted said.
