    Nummech Macro Line Fittings

    #2
Got a pair of the 90°elbows recently for a 'mag w/ nummech frame. They're kinda chonk compared to the CCM & generic brand fitting mismatch that was on there, but they look nice.

By chonk do you mean thick/big or janky/crap?

Thick/big. Sorry for the confusion. The quality feels really solid. Haven't aired up yet with the new fittings, I've been letting the loctite set for... way longer than necessary.

Took these when they came in. Thought i had pics of the fittings side with the CCM installed, but cant find em. The longer Nummech fitting on the frame itself may not be threaded in enough. Aired up earlier today and there was a leak from it. Or maybe the piece of macro was too short? In any case, here's a couple pics. I can take more from different angles with the CCM fitting. Realized this doesn't adequately display the Nummech fitting's girth.

Is it me or are the threads a different pitch?

Doesn't screw in as deep on the automag valve as the CCM, if that is related.

I love how CCM's consistent inability to produce a product that there is tremendous demand for has spawned copies. Free market wins again!

CCM's stainless push-to-connect sleeve is better - less prone to leak and fail over time.

ill take a better sleeve any day. No wiggle it till it stops leaking.
