Adrenaline Paintball, Walking Dead Big Game, London, Ontario, Canada

Hi Guys, have any of you ever played Adrenaline Paintball's ( just outside of London, Ontario , Canada ) Walking Dead big game?

I read the game day rules, and in typical Zombie game fashion, there are 2 opposing teams, and 1 zombie horde

The neat aspect is each team needs specialized units of Zombie Killers , who are armed with .50 cal guns and special colored paint. Only the zombie killers and their specialized ammo can dispatch a Zombie ! Regular .68 cal players cannot kill zombies..

It seems like a fun concept, where any group heading off on an offensive, or mission not only needs to have a medic or two with them, but also a zombie killer unit as well !

Anyhow, just wondering if you gents had any experience playing this big game ? How was it ? Were there enough Zombies players to make them a real threat to either team?

    Cheers, M7

I played an Asylum game at PRZ and they had people dressed up as Halloween characters throughout the field. You couldn't shoot them but they could eliminate you by tagging you out.
you wouldn't see them during a fire fight but if you were dug in behind or exploring buildings to try and flank around they would be there. I guess it was a way to herd the players into the zones they want.

That sounds pretty fun too. I really like the adrenaline concept that you can shoot the special character Zombies if you have the right equipment. Essentially they’ll have three classes of players on each team, infantry, medics, and zombie hunters!

I just hope there are enough guys playing Zombie to make it interesting. If only a handful agree to run around as the zombies, it might suck

We had a similar concept at DMZ many years ago for the Predator big games. There was specific paint for eliniminating the Predator, that had to be found ( green fill of coarse). A few of us had side arms so we could divide it up, big points for taking out the Pred. The Predator was armed, he would decimate an area unless you could eliminate him. Later games were Predator vs Aliens, the original owner of DMZ made amazing costumes.

Looks pretty interesting... who wants to go?
And God turned to Gabriel and said: “I shall create a land called Canada of outstanding natural beauty, with majestic mountains soaring with eagles, sparkling lakes abundant with bass and trout, forests full of elk and moose, and rivers stocked with salmon. I shall make the land rich in oil so the inhabitants prosper and call them Canadians, and they shall be praised as the friendliest of all people.”

“But Lord,” asked Gabriel, “Is this not too generous to these Canadians?”

And God replied, “Just wait and see the neighbors I shall inflict upon them."

Jordan yeah, that's a drive for sure. It's about the same for me to Adrenaline.

I thought about going to play the Ontario Classic, but 3 hours is a lot.

Looks like a really cool field, though.
