I clocked over 9 miles while I had my phone on Saturday. I should do that every weekend I would lose weight.

Not gonna lie, Saturday was a bit miserable for various reasons but recouped and had a blast on Sunday. Good game to everyone who played. An epic push I was in, and that final battle was a great experience! Can't forget that prime camping weather too. I thought I was prepared for the walking from Fulda. That was most certainly not the case π

After my second time going back to my car I brought 3 HPRs with me to the chrono lol The ref thought it was funny. 2rd reg finally worked without adjustment, 279-281-280 and the he told me to go play. Apparently my Hyper IIs did not enjoy their 7 year hiatus.

My team and I had a great time in our tank (Mid-Atlantic Mayhem, I had the pink mask and was upfront most runs) and were happy to pull MVP for Red. The mud was a little rough to go through, and my legs are still recovering a bit, but it was a great time overall. Flounder (Wade) was our nemesis all weekend, and took us out by far the most. The score might not have shown it, but sure seemed like a pretty even fight most of the weekend. Looking forward to next year, and already have plans for a new surprise for out on the field.

Yeah, I'm finding that fewer fields have open chronos available. Maybe big reds are harder to get nowadays? It really sucks to have to guess at a setup and just get spot-checked by a ref with a Virtue clock. You walk up to them and take 3 shots at 260-265 and they say "you're good, go play!" Maybe I want to dial it in a little more, but there's no opportunity. I'm just going to have to invest in a nice handheld chrono and do it myself.

Thats very true. i was under the impression that the swamp was the place to avoid. Didnt expect the swamp to continue all the way to the road haha>
My biggest issue was how they did the chronos... Why in the heck did they not leave a chrono up front?! They didnt have to leave a crew member to monitor it. If someone (who drove) swapped guns midday and had an issue when arriving to their insertion point, they had to walk like 1/2 mile back to their car. They made it harder to play safe and follow the rules... pure stupid IMO

I'll be out there on the red side wearing my Carter's Commando jersey. Come say hi if you see me!

anyone have lots of experience with GI 5* and Evil? I got one of each in case one is questionable quality, but would request to trade if one is usually better.
and anyone trying to meet up with other members?

Just saw on Facebook that red outnumbers blue 4 to 1 and they are asking red players to switch.

I'm in the same boat as you, driving in each day. Interested in the answers you get.

The weather is looking good so far with ~65*f temps, partly cloudy & no rain for both days. I planned to probably not camp since my home isn't terribly far. What would recommendations be for timing and parking in the mornings if that was the case?
