    Classic vs Pro?

I know this has been answered at some point, but what is the difference between an RT Classic vs an RT Pro? And, what is the difference between a Classic Valve vs a Pro valve?

RT Classic gets fed air from the rail through a banjo bolt to the valve.
RT Pro gets fed air through a tapped side port, just like a regular automag valve.

Rt classic has a unique rear banjo bolt, and has proprietary parts. ( banjo, rail frame i believe)?

Rt pro is like every other mag in the sense that all the parts are swappable with other mags.

RT classic frame is therefore different with bigger hole at the rear mount point

Does that make either of them better than the other?

From experience it's a lot easier to get a macroline fitting to not leak than it is a banjo bolt in an RT classic. Seems like every time I had the valve out I had to fight to get that thing lubed and tightened just right so it wouldn't leak a little.

I’m a huge fan of the RT Classic, but the RT Pro is the ‘better’ design in practical terms. There’s a reason AGD only used the banjo bolt on one marker design. It’s just more trouble than it’s worth compared to a standard air input/valve layout like all other Automags have, and parts compatibility was a major plus for the Automag series that the RT Classic got left out of. That said, the RT Classic will always be the more interesting to me of the two, quirks and all, which is why I’ve owned many RT Classics and zero RT Pro’s. For some reason the RT Classic has been getting a lot of love on the FB groups, but I have no idea why.
