Would You Rather Have One Marker for Sniper/Cocker or Two Separate

Find myself in a good spot with a couple markers now after finding a real good deal on a cocker. Now the wheels are turning. Do I continue to use a separate Sniper and this cocker for semi auto play, or do I mix n match, keep the parts I want, and also have a pump kit plus pneumatics?

Does anyone swap between sniper/cocker on the same marker? Or is it less of a pain to just have two separates?

Two separate is how I roll as I can imagine that will be the common response , to much of a pain in the neck I would imagine with swapping back and fourth with all the timing involved.

I prefer separate simply because you can just switch marker as your mood suits, no tools necessary. Also, not sure it would be just a straight switchover either. Your sniper springing may not be the same as your mech. So you may end up with a poor shooting sniper by just switching the pneumatics.

I personally have 2 mech cockers, 4 pump cockers and a e-cocker I’m wrestling between going mech or pump at the moment, so I fail at the run one of each part.

Two separate... once your timing is perfect, you dont want to change anything

Also on MCB I guess we are a lot of paintball hoarder
I personally keep several sniper, some mech semi and e-cocker...

I tried having two setups for one body... it's a pain to switch everything over. Much easier to set up two different, separate, markers.
And God turned to Gabriel and said: “I shall create a land called Canada of outstanding natural beauty, with majestic mountains soaring with eagles, sparkling lakes abundant with bass and trout, forests full of elk and moose, and rivers stocked with salmon. I shall make the land rich in oil so the inhabitants prosper and call them Canadians, and they shall be praised as the friendliest of all people.”

“But Lord,” asked Gabriel, “Is this not too generous to these Canadians?”

And God replied, “Just wait and see the neighbors I shall inflict upon them."

Yup, not worth the hassle having to setups is way more fun.

So i am going through without an autococker marker in front of me and i can immediately think of the parts to change out for a semi you would need front block, cocking rod, timing rod, I am sure i am missing something. For the pump you need the cocking rod, the pump arms, the pump, again likely missing something. Would you mind filling in the missing parts for me Mr. Jordan of what you carried to change the gun around?

Good calls. Would be too much of a hassle. Two markers it is.

And we’ve all had days where we needed every single backup as well!

Truth! I said no more and just bought another body because I have a lonely frame. This one will be my last one though.

Like anyone here can have just one... I do agree with everyone here. Have 2, the fine tuning will kill your time on the field.

                  Velcor's first law of paintball markers;

                  2 is 1 and 1 is none.

                  So, 2.

Two of each is the minimum I would recommend.

I have a hard time changing barrels between games and you want to change a sniper to an autococker or vice versa Good Luck with that

Separate, went down the road of converting one marker back and forth and not worth the time and effort. They are too cheap not to build at least one of each and carry them both. I went the same route with Blazers tried the pump kit for the Blazer but the Pyre is way better so I have both.

Most players don’t even know how to time there own cockers. Let alone have the knowledge and time to swap back and forth. I get why people build both setups when going the custom cocker route. But nobody is swapping them back to play different formats. Even markers that have the option to switch, I’m willing to bet they stay with whatever is currently on the marker at the time.
