    Slide frame question(s)...

I’m in the process of finishing up ol Rumple Foreskin and need some good advice on the raw gutted ANS frame I got from Woouulf. Should I buy the brass or nylon tipped screws for the trigger plate, how long, and who makes a thin trigger shoe for these things? I have a McMaster Carr order coming up so gonna toss them in. Thanks!

Historically, ANS used nylon but I prefer brass. Just be sure to polish them before installing. As for length, I can't remember for sure but I think it was something around 1/8 or 3/16. It is very possible to go too long, especially for the rear screw. But I want to say 1/8 is about right.

The two thinnest trigger shoes I know of are Shocktech and Nummech.

I use rounded point stainless. Very low friction.

I think the brass-tipped screws in my Benchmark frames are 1/4" long. A little dab of grease on the screws and the sides of the trigger plate, and the trigger pulls are ridiculously smooth.

I don't think it's going to matter for a paintball gun, but nylon is going to wear faster. Also, in my experience, it's more susceptible to holding on to grit.
