Help with cocker/sniper springing

    Remember that the fewer coils a spring has the stiffer it is. That spring on the left is a red Maddmann spring which is their heaviest. On the right...who knows but it's heavier than the red maddmann spring so it's up there.

    I think you're on to something. Try some softer mainsprings like that maddmann red and see if you can get up to velocity.

        Let me know if you need some springs. Would need trimmed given the application, but likely gets you set on the right track. Either way, you don't want to be running maddmann red springs - that thing will be like shooting a bucking bronco!
