    Bnechmark frame rear set screw?

Anyone know the size of the rear set screw on a Benchmark frame? The front is 10-32, but that won't even come close to fitting the rear threaded hole. 8-32?

I have three frames- one was bought completely stripped and the other two don't have set screws installed there.

    If it's not 10-32, it's 8-32.

They're a nightmare to install, btw. Have to be screwed in from the top.

      You're f-in' fantastic. Thanks.

Glancing at that, it's easy to see that installing from the top is the only way. I seem to remember doing this on an older frame about 17 years ago.

Stick the Allen key all the way through the hole from the bottom. Make it a long one. Put the screw on the Allen key. Place the trigger plate down in the slot, putting pressure on the screw. Turn Allen key counter clockwise. Bingo Bango.

I did the same using another hex wrench to provide pressure from the top. Worked like a champ.
