So I made a new ram

So I made a new ram for autocockers. Actually I just got around to making a design I started thinking about maybe 5 years ago. If anyone was around that long ago you may remember I sold a few rams back then as well but they were much more traditional in design. Anyhow the Issue I had when selling them was installing the oring for the nose of the ram. You know the little tiny one that needs a super long pick and only maybe comes out without too much damage. I would love to show you some pictures but I'm having a hard time getting the new site to accept them so if you would like to see some pics of the internals and such below is a link to a review of from a beta tester about the unit I sent him for review.

ram, autococker, cylinder, pnuematics, cocker, paintball, pump

Biased on his and others remarks I did end up changing things such as the barb. The new barbs are the same front and back and are all now Nickle plated brass rather than just raw brass. I also slightly changed the brass insert the review units had a 6mm internal hex the production version has 7/32 so you only need one set of allen keys for the whole thing. I also ended up slightly changing the piston to get a better seal on the piston oring. And lastly I changed the bore of the body to have a burnished finish rather than reamed and honed finish.

I thought some of you guys might be interested and might not follow the FB stuff very much. So if you have any questions about it let me know I would love to hear some feedback especially if you were able to get one on the first round.

If your interested https://www.notlamegames.com is the retailer.

I watched on the notlamegames.com website. That’s some nice engineering Tom! If I was in the market for a new ram, I would jump on this for sure.

Great looking design. As soon as I saw it I thought "I'll carry that!" But then I found out NLG is the exclusive retailer.
I might get one anyway, I think it is a very smart evolution of the design.

Honestly I'm surprised that it has not been done already. It seams like even the people who put the rams together would be looking for an easier way to assemble standard rams and this seamed like a pretty obvious evolution. I guess it just needed someone lazy enough to do the work.

How much are they? No prices are listed on the site.
And God turned to Gabriel and said: “I shall create a land called Canada of outstanding natural beauty, with majestic mountains soaring with eagles, sparkling lakes abundant with bass and trout, forests full of elk and moose, and rivers stocked with salmon. I shall make the land rich in oil so the inhabitants prosper and call them Canadians, and they shall be praised as the friendliest of all people.”

“But Lord,” asked Gabriel, “Is this not too generous to these Canadians?”

And God replied, “Just wait and see the neighbors I shall inflict upon them."

I think they were around 60-65 dollars when they were in stock.

I won't be buying one any time soon... with shipping and exchange I'm over $100. They're nice rams but not something I can afford.

They look shorter than an STO ram, right? Somewhere in the range of an Empire ram?

Its just under 2.5" from the back of the ram to the end of the hex on the nose.

Nice design. Has a lot of the improvements that I've long desired a RAM to have to make working with them easier.
                I can haz feedback?
If I owe you feedback, just remind me, as I sometimes forget.

I bought 2 for builds. Wound up selling them about a year apart. Couple of lucky buyers out there. I had to question if I was going to shoot enough to rebuild them
